What I like to do as a super weapon counter is, I figured that the enemy always selects a target of the most expensive units and buildings. Therefore I try to gather a group of fast and expensive mobile units then after enemy launches superweapon of the group run thus the enemy hits nothing at all.

However, I also think it is less exciting because the lack of faction generals and faction unique abilities/units. Agreed with what you said. With 3 factions you can't really mess balance up that hardcore. Take Starcraft 2 for example. There are always minor balance issues. If we take Zero Hour we can see some big balance issues. I personally like Generals more than Zero Hour. The reason for this could be that I played the vanilla edition more in my beginning time before I bougth Zero Hour. The addon brings more variaty, but also some major balance issues.
at what speed was the game played? because the fighting look to be at normal speed, but the commands to build units and facilities are lightning fast. that's the secret? fast replay of a slow game play? I tried not brutal, just hard with only one enemy , and after 2 hours of battle it still wasn't clear if I was to win or loose, and abandoned, it pissed me off.

Also, this map has a narrow entries which make them enter almost one by one. Not saying I can do better, but I'd LOVE to see you play against 7 hardest in ZH.

The GLA wasn't actually Arabian. It was an international terrorist group mostly from central Asia. But of course it was influenced by Al Quaida. Generals is actually quite a good satire against American interventionism in the world.

Humvees don’t require power and are cheaper. So, unless you have to worry about jarmen kell or hackers, it’s not a bad idea
