You should keep your projector as close to the screen as possible using maximum zoom to keep the picture at its brightest which comes in handy watching HDR!Good job though!Cheers!

For such a good powerful projector that’s small screen so better to have a 75 inch tv instead

I also have a epson 9400 great projector but could not find the epson ceiling bracket. Seems to be very hard to find one anywhere so used a vogal one instead.

Hi Man, how do you achieve it to sync the ambient light with the play/pause of the Apple TV? I try with shortcuts/Automatisation but i didnt work.
Will be happy if u can help me.
    Thks sir.

Not a problem. The control system we are using is Crestron as well as the lighting system so this gives us a lot of scope for customisation. So i set up a scene that i wanted to trigger when we hit the pause button on ATV/Sky TV. Because in the programming, the button presses for pause/play are discrete it knows which scene to recall upon a pause press and a play press

Hi can you tell me what cable is required for audio out? I plan to put an amazon fire sick 4K in one hdmi and a sky q box in the other. It says on the back of the projector hdmi optical , not the normal optical out I’m used to with optical cables? I want to connect straight to my sonos arc sound bar without the need for any av amp. So can you confirm cable I need and if this will work ok before I purchase this projector. Thanks

Hi Ian. I believe the Opt HDMI out that you can see is to power an Optical HDMI cable. It’s not a standard audio out nor is there a trigger out. The manual also says it guarantee the performance of the optical hdmi out 🤷🏽‍♂️.
The 9400 is a professional piece of kit so Epson probably expect you to have an AV Receiver as standard however if you didn’t want to go down that route a hdmi splitter should work just as well and you can strip the audio out of that to put into your Sonos.
If you have problems getting hold of this projector and a decent hdmi splitter please let me know as we can supply them for you as well (subject to stock availability)

Noble Recon great thanks so much for clarifying this for me. It really confused me when I saw the optical HDMI out. I have been looking at this model and the Optoma uhz65 which has a conventional optical out. So trying to decided between the two? Enjoyed you video and have subscribed 👍

Does the first minute of this video have anything to do with the title? He seems a lovely guy but not interested in how long the lead time was for one of his previous customers.
