I have lodged my 491 visa offshore for facilities manager occupation on 03 April 2023 with 3 dependent family members and I have my medical on 12 April 2023 when can I expect the visa grant. Do DHA conducts any physical verification or grants directly. Is wollongong good city to live in NSW. Thanks.
Hi, DHA do not do verification, If all good with Medical, in 2 weeks it will be submitted to DHA, A CO will be assigned to your case in 4 weeks, he will check your documents, searches your name on linkedin, instagram, make sure you keep same companies on linkedin, and if all good, secondary review will be done, whole process will take 4-5 months, Wollongong is a good city, Crown street is good, and that's the only place in Wollongong to hang-out apart from beach, but yeah its closer to Sydney 2 hours train,

Hi Nikhil, 489 is good, but I think You cannot directly apply for 489, you should have other visa like (You must hold a subclass 475, 487, 495 or 496 visa) before applying for 489 visa
