  • I've been making a lot of dark themed pieces lately and everyone seems to really love it when I do. This is a piece I'm calling "Skeleton King" and I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of a typical time lapse I wanted to do various segments of real-time painting. A nice side-effect of doing this is you get to hear me work on my ipad with my paper like screen protector, which TO ME is extremely soothing. I hope it doesn't bother any of you and, in fact, you get as much satisfaction out of it as I do.

    I'm trying to decide what is most confusing, why this was just as good as the usual speed paints, or how in the world it sounded like you were using a pencil. I know you have the fancy screen protector but still, so much like a pencil.

      Well the apple pencil has a very slightly abrasive tip, That alone wouldn't make any difference other than providing a little friction over the smooth surface, but combined with a paper textured screen protector it feels and sounds like the real thing

      Would you say that helps or causes annoyance in the case of drawing?

      Are the brushes you use your own creation?

    • @Gammatrap
      @Gammatrap  4 роки тому +1

      @@joshreidart no, most of these brushes are just some of procreate's default brushes

    cool to know that this style is more sculpted in drawing rather than making a sketch, really informative on how to approach something like this :D

    This is legitimately satisfying! I love your work, especially works like this beastly sight! By the by, on average, how long would you estimate an average piece of digital art takes?
