- Welcome to another day in the life video! I invite you into my Sunday spent at the beach surfing, going to our favourite bakery, shopping for food, a little afternoon of yoga, reading and some work research. Followed by cooking an evening meal. Throughout the video I stop along the way to share go gently sustainable minded practices I incorporate into my day. I wish you a beautiful slow and steady week ahead.

“The best surfer is the one having the most fun.” For some reason that small sentence really resonated with me :) love that mindset for all hobbies and passions or things we want to try
It's true. The first time i heared the saying was with fishing. I was sitting next to an old man and he said something along the lines of "You pro folks (we took it very seriously with pro equipment and everything) might be catching more than me, but i bet im having more fun than you lot all combined"
It just stuck with me.

I also love that you don’t try to force sustainable living on people but rather teach and show that even you sometimes have plastics or something that can’t be recycled. hi! i have a tip for the hard plastic containers. if you grow your own veg from seeds you can start the seeds in the little plastic containers and it acts like a mini greenhouse!

No I don't know actually. I don't have Instagram, but maybe she posted on there? Yeah that's amazing that they found him!!
@@Erinba Sometimes cats get lost. Especially after a move and then they find their way home again eventually. And some find themself a second or third home (even though they have everything in their first home 🙈) and they go from one to another. Either way I'm just glad they found him again.

I loved to see (another) day in your life video, especially with you stopping along the way and pointing out things you are (and we could be) doing to do more sustainably minded practices! So, always up for this if you ever feel like doing more! Furthermore, I am really exited about the fact you are thinking about the concept for a new book, when I saw the two books you are reading to do research during the video even more so. Ocean and magick; interesting combination! Really interested what comes out of that.

You always inspire me to try and do better with helping the planet. I think it can be hard if you live with a family of 4 like I do but I think you can always make small decisions on your own to try and get better at being environmentally friendly. That’s what I need to remind myself anyway. Looking forward to the next video :)

I believe bottle caps and lids under 3” diameter have to be screwed back on the bottle it came on. This prevents it from getting tossed at recycling centers for being too small. That may depend on the state in which you recycle, but worth checking into:) Love your channel and for shining light on such important topics!
