One of my favorite sets!! I had my booster last Tuesday. Like you, I had Pfizer and other than being tired, I had limited to no side effects. Not so much with the booster. I suffer from migraines but for the past few years have had them under control with preventative injections, preventative medication, and then the actual medication when a migraine comes. This combination has brought me down about 80-90% over the past few years which literally changed my life. Well, this booster brought a migraine that I haven't felt in years and the medication didn't touch it. After it finally subsided I actually smiled because not only will I put up with that for a day compared to the alternative but it made me appreciate the advances in migraine medication. I used to get those multiple times per week and now it's been years since I had one that bad.
Hi Todd- Great shave and recollections about your first shave soap. I started-out with Cella, but quickly had so many choices I can’t remember what came next! Feel better quickly after the booster. Have a great weekend and best regards, as always.
Thanks for joining in, Todd. I'm sorry the shot took you down. I had some arm pain with all 3. With the first and the booster, I had about 4 hours of feeling a bit tired and a little off but was fine by the next day.
Nice shave Todd . Appreciate you working through things to share with us . I had 2 Pfizer shots only a sore arm but hear of several having issues.Hope you feel better.
Love PAA's Sangre de Drago! My first good shave soap was my Dad's vintage Old Spice soap puck, IMO, it was really good. Great shave and video, good sir!
Great shave man! Love me som PAA. It's insane how they have such a huge catalogue with t shirts for all their soaps and stuff. I just got that razor too and cant wait to use it, it sounds like a good one! Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your weekend
Great shave! Thank you for the tag! My favorite TOBS is Eton College. I picked that up waaaaaaay back in 2014. It's weird, I haven't had any reaction from any of my three Pfizer shots. Whereas my wife has had three Moderna shots and had a small reaction all three times.
Hi Todd. I had started with canned gel from Nivea that I had used for years with a Gillette cartridge razor. After that I bought a tub each of Proraso Red and Cella, both of which were so much better than the canned goo. From there I got into some Stirling samples and then samples from Maggard's and then I fell down the rabbit hole. I've stopped buying soaps for the most part because I have enough t this point to last me a decade. I may grab a sample or tub to mix it up every so often but that's about it. Thanks for the video!
Wow, Todd. I have never heard of a soap being described as "barn-yardy". I have had plenty of beer with wild yeast that have barnyard elements, which contribute to complexity.
Nice close up shave ...😁... The TOBS St.James for me is quite a neutral scent so much so I consider it an unscented soap. When I started Traditional Wet shaving with a DE in early 2014 none of my soaps were of Artisan type, it would have been some cream like Proraso, I don't quite remember. I didn't get into Artisan soap collecting until early 2020, but I've made up for my late start ... 🤠
I have had two shots of AstraZeneca and had the exact same experience with both: Within half an hour I had a headache. Within two hours I was very tired. Then for a day and a half I was on deaths door with what felt like the worst flu in the universe. Then, on the following day I was euphoric and bouncing off the walls as if I had been using Robin Williams sweat inducing substances.
well you went straight in for a top notch soap brother . my first one was parmolive shave cream 🤣🤣🤣 hope you’re doing ok my friend . yeh my booster done me for about 6/8 hours nothing horrific just felt a bit crap

You are a wide man. I wish I had set limits like that early on. I’m doing it now though.
