- This is what Cross wanted when he said EVERYONE! Like Literally Every practically the entire FBI and Heat level 10. That helicopter is something else though. Never gives up, and is always ready to ram into me. Keep in mind that I am running an Aventador SVJ with Junkman parts! Still can keep up with no issue. I have survived heat 10 before, but never was it once ever easy. Those police dialogues are the best of any NFS Game!

Do 30 minutes of this pursuit as a way to push yourself to the absolute edge and then you'll know just how much you can sweat in that time. I took a long ass break for weeks because all I could here was sirens and the sound of a helicopter everywhere I go

Half of the lines spoken from cross and the police I have never heard before and I've played this game a lot in my lifetime 🤯
Because these dialogues are only reserved for higher heat levels (level 7 and beyond maybe)
if only modern racegames could take a note of the quality of Most wanted, they dont make pursuits like this anymore
Guess you never played Rivals before my guy. The cop chases in Rivals are super intense and brutal as hell. The cops are really deadly.
One wrong move and you will be cornered by the cops driving hypers and will annihilate you until you are dead.

POV: you just want to know what bounty and animation can you get after eliminating the helicopter.
They actually can be destroyed with pursuit breaker and give a grand total of 1$ bounty

There is a special mode within the game which gives us an ss muscle car and cops chase us with SUV's. Try that next time.

Honestly NFSMW is one of these game with a solid base fundation that 20 years later, the game is still alive thanks to dedicated modders. Kind of wish I had found this earlier

The chases in this game were so much fun and intense.Not a fan of the radio chatter in unbound, this felt more real.
Yeah. This one feels more professional and they're really desperate to bust the player. Unbound & Heat lines were cringe

Rivals followed Most Wanted 2005's footsteps for being the deadliest cops in the franchise, surpassing the AI of Rockport's. Redview County's cops would just annihilate you until you're dead using their deadly weaponry.
Anyone noticed the police chatter during daytime is completely different in Heat though.

Kinda easy if you have skill tho, there is somewhere in the map that can guarantee your escape, but you have to use it at the right time

I feel dumb because I've put so many hours into this game and I was like "that's weird why is cross spawning so much"
then I was like "oh okay I get it, it's the rest of the X-ray units"
and finally I realized "holy shit he's called cross because he's the leader of the X-ray division"

dude the cops in this game were actually just unfair lol they infinitely spawn in front of you and at any path you take. definitely the most brutal cops ever to the point where when I was a kid I ended up not beating the storyline not because of the races but because of how utterly ridiculous it was to avoid pursuits at higher levels

-cops spawn out of thin air
-constant roadblock spawn

Huh didn't know the orange corvettes were the beta version of Cross. I just assumed they were the cut Street Racing Unit that never made it into the game but you'd see in the opening cutscene when booting up the game. Pretty neato
I remember when I put an infinite nitro mod on it, it went down the golf road like hell... for me that game will be the best in the history of need for speed...😍😍

The Actual condition 10 you could access by editing the games memory and not from installing a mod is you guessed it. All cross and a helicopter, however, only 1 cross unit is active out of 99 more backup units (which is just cross). There are roadblocks but no spike trips and a helicopter that is always on your ass. Even if you get rid of it it will come back quicker than your farther picking up the milk out of the grocery store. Disabling any of the units only result in 0 bounty. Cooldown without hiding last s for about 10 minutes and 5 when hiding.

I remember doing this thing once but in a mode. It took me 1 and a half hour to get through it. My uncle who was a pro was surprised that I a 12 y/o could do what he could not in his favorite games.

I had over an hour pursuits back on ps2. I loved this game so much. The carnage was lovely. Really loved the the manual transmission on that game as well. When done correctly nothing could keep you hemmed up.

playing burnout and NFS i absolutely loved the races and police chases in this game, it was highspeed and destructive.
Tip: Go around the Rosewood highway because it helps you with these chases

I’m about to try this rn, thank you so much, I was always looking for a more challenge than lv 10 cops with only 1 Cross chasing u and only roadblocks, u kill Cross it spawns another one, was hella boring, now seeing this with multiple Crosses and his X-Ray unit is super interesting, I’m gonna try this rn if anyone would be interesting to watch I’d even OBS screen record the gameplay. (been playin nfs since 6 years I’ve been looking for a challenge a lot)

Of all my years of playing this game as a child until now, my personal best is only Heat Level 8 and that also, I've managed to escape only twice

now that i think about it, if u combined this with that Cross mod u used, that made cross's car pretty much like the player's car, being resistent and fast, then...all of these clones of cross would most likely make the game almost impossible to win without a pursuit break
