The only reason there is a hose line targetting the exterior window is to prevent the heat and fire from spreading through the window. The interior hose lines are the most probable reason the fire was put out, as should be the case in most fires. You also do not use high pressure water on the window or from the exterior knowing you have a fire crew inside battling the fire.
How come no water for fire fighting for such a long time? Secondly, the external water jet directly towards the indoor fire location is fatal to the victims inside as well as the fighters fighting inside. The high temperature inside with water comes from external made the fire location become a steam oven. The external water jet can only be used to prevent fire spreading to other location not fight against the fire directly.
Can you see how just a small amount of water through the window on burning material can get the job done quickly and safely? I know USA firefighters can't. Imagine what a 1-3/4" line could do for 5 seconds!
Based on this video taken from the street level and with a limited vantage point, how are you able to determine whether the main body of fire was extinguished from the interior or the exterior? After all, they did have hose lines inside the building.
The USA has some of the worst in the world because of their weak work ethic. The FDNY, IS, the worst. Oh, I'm a third-generation firefighter from a family of firefighters, from the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are 1,216,600 firefighters serving in 27,228 fire departments in the USA. They range from small town volunteer departments of handful of members to the 11,000 member FDNY protecting a city of 8.8 million people. Do you think the firefighting is the same throughout all these different departments? Do you pity all of them? When you get a chance, maybe you'd be good enough to post a link showing Japanese or Northern European firefighters actually rescuing people. And I don't mean a situation where they throw a ladder or platform up to a window where the "victims" were fortunate enough to get to... under their own accord. Maybe a situation where the firefighter climbs in a smoke filled window, conducts a search and locates an unconscious victim 20 feet in... and then removes them. Or maybe a rope rescue, where a firefighter is lowered from above by rope to grab on to the victim and lower them to safety. Something like that. In other words, a situation where a firefighter places themselves in danger in order to remove a civilian from imminent harm. One caveat though...No need to send videos of the Paris Fire Brigade. I've seen videos of them at operations, and I am incredibly impressed with them. From what I've seen they are the real deal. So maybe you can post a link of some other N. European or Japanese FD that operate that similarly. I look forward to your reply. Thank you, Chris.
こういう動画では決まって「窓側からの放水が弱い」などというようなコメントが書き込まれたりしますが、このような火災の多くの場合、窓側を排気側として設定し、室内からの排煙を促進して屋内進入隊の視界を確保をするため、強い棒状放水などは避けて煙を押し戻さないよう、窓側からの放水は行わないか或いは、上階への延焼阻止など必要最小限の弱めの放水に限るのが一般的ですから、この場合も窓側からは勢い弱めに放水しているのは意図的と見られますので、あらかじめ書き込んでおきます。

初めまして、電鉄のむ次郎と申します。 先ほど、動画を拝見しチャンネル登録をいたしました。
どうやら、警察が先着していたようですね、この火災は、爆発や放火の可能性もあるようです、昨夜名古屋のビルの倉庫が燃える火災では、放火したようです。
原因は私もよく知りませんが、この日は日曜日でテナントのお店は休みが多かったようです
ので、その線もありかも？

まどに向けての放水は2階位で効果があるかもね。3回以上はやはり梯子車からの放水が有効しかならない。

この時は夕方6時半ごろで、やっと暮れつつある頃です、夜中だったら延焼が広がったでしょうね、ただ逆にベルの反応が鈍くて誤報だろうとみんな決め付けて始めの消火活動は遅かったみたいですよ

一階の角は広島銘菓のお店です、2階の角も何かのお店でガラス張りですが、他のお店はどこも中の様子がわからない様な作りのビルですが、燃えたすぐ下のお店は、沖縄の炭火焼きとガラスに書かれていましたが、その上のガラスが真っ黒焦げだったのでなんか笑えました、どうでもいい情報ですいません、今は白いテントで綺麗にカバーされています

煙や風等を考えて裏から消火もしてると思いますよ、以前近くで火災ありましたが、生存第１、延焼第２風向き等を考慮して隊長さんが指示してると思いますよ⁉️
多分その通りでかなりの隊員の人達が中の階段を登って行かれました、この日は日曜日で中のテナントさんは休みが多かったのでお客さん達も殆ど居なかったのも不幸中の幸いだったんだと思いますね
