Thanks much...just bought it, fired it, and your video made it easy to take apart, put back together and prepare for cleaning. Nice filming, narration, and right to the point...
I got one of these used (like maybe 50 rounds through it) from a friend for $225. For the money and use it's been great. No issues or malfunctions of any kind. It's just a glove box shoot the hell out of it pistol. With the 17 round mag and grip extension if comes with also makes a nice home defense gun. With the 10 round mag and flush fit base plate it's not bad for EDC either. Only negative is it's a bit on the heavy side.
One comment for the models of SR9c with the newer striker covers (just one groove for the cock): You can place a small punch in the groove of the striker cover to depress the striker. Lightly push the striker cover down and out of the slide. To relieve some of the retention force, press the magazine disconnect then the striker blocker on the underside of the slide before removing the striker cover.
Here’s a odd question.. I just received this same gun through FFL from my brother in NY. It has a purple dot/sticker toward the end of the barrel.. I noticed that yours has a yellow dot. Why? Is this just how they come from the factory? He said he never really thought about it.
My understanding is that the dots are "Quality Control" indicators from the factory. Different colors may indicate different inspectors. Don't know for sure. Thanks for watching.
Do not stick your finger down in there like he did my neighbor is short a finger because of that he accidentally decock the pistol while his finger was in the hole really a stupid move , yeah I know what you're thinking and I used this method for years but I'll never do it again I want to keep my finger

Hope you like it! I have a Ruger LCP 2 as well. Although the LCP is easier to carry, the SR9C is more fun to shoot! Thanks for watching.
Thanks.... Worked like a charm.. First time ever cleaning this gun

It is heavy but because of that, it is more comfortable to shoot than a lighter gun. Thanks for watching.
I've had mine a month and it's been one of my favorite handguns so far and I've shot LOTS of different makes and models. Great gun for edc.
@@swayzy762 Yeah it's a good gun. Nothing fancy but it's been reliable and I find it extremely comftrable when shooting. Love the grip and grip angle.
Great video. Straight to the point. And just to think i was about to watch a 20 min vid

You can also use the butt plate for the magazine to push the pin out with out marring the gun.
Nice video.
Thanks for that input.
Nice job. Great help.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks. Please re-upload with better resolution camera, it will help for the internal gate lock/unlock with the slide back.
Very nice vid, thank you much

How do you get rid of the loaded indicator or disable it
Hey guys, just got a used one. It jams often when fired. Could this be a cheap ammo issue or does the gun need to be spot free cleaned? Any help?
It could be the ammo or the gun. I recommend a good cleaning BUT don't forget to lube the slide.
Excellent
