There is a Bedford QL just dumped near where I live !! It's a bit of history from WW2 just rotting away slowly .( Very dry climate here ) It's a crying shame really ! It's got a CMP rear end ! I made a couple of local WW2 museums aware of it but got no answer ! ( and a couple in Canada ! Where it was made possibly ? No answer either !)
2:21 Australian military truck?, 3:25 The engine is very loud, so driving for a long time can be deafening. This is how the gearbox hums. Visibility behind the driver's wheel is good
Thx for the feedback. Though the Bedford QLB participated in both the National parade and the Liberation column North I don't think I have any footage of it while driving. Mostly due to the fact that I was assigned to the M3 half track. I did manage to spend the night in it. It is in fact possible to fit a standard army field bed in the back - after some MacGyvering :-) ua-cam.com/video/R3y9zpK5eO8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/0lde7VCS7fk/v-deo.html In any case I'll put it on my to do list to get some footage from the cab. Maybe do a 360 degree review. The Bedford QLB should normally also participate in the liberation column South which takes places in January next year to commemorate the Battle of the Bulge.
You have to realize people want to see the controls of the vehicles and an explanation of what they do, not the view from the windows or the unprimed / semi-primed external finishes

78a67h not everyone thinks that way, but I’ll keep it in mind as topic for a future episode.
