Hi. For DOB proof, you can share your passport, or 10th certificate and I think Aadhaar should also be a valid DOB proof. I think from online portal you can delete your previous application and create a new one. Thanks

If you are registering your marriage in Delhi, it would be preferable if either of you has an ID card from Delhi. Additionally, you need to bring witnesses, who should also be from Delhi.
Thanks Ajay. Like we have got within 5 days. You can request them during your visit to the sdm office. They will provide you the provisional certificate and then you can sign it and submit it to that same email. May be after 2 or 3 working days you will get the final one. Requesting in sdm office will actually work.

Apologies for late reply. I think some issues may occur because of the documents or mainly affidavit. Even though we had mentioned everything in the affidavit but still they wanted us to add few more points. Other than that they had asked for local witness (from Delhi only).
Yes. Both husband and wife has to visit once for documents submission & verification. They also capture photo of bride, groom & the witnesses at the office for marriage certificate. Hope this helps.

If anyone from you are from Delhi then the primary applicant should be from Delhi. Mention the exact details while filling the online form. Once you have your marriage registered then you can change the address in other govt documents. Hope this helps.
If you are registering your marriage at the Delhi center, its better if you do it from Delhi itself to avoid any unexpected inconvenience at the centre.
When you will be filling the online form for marriage registration and at the moment when you enter the date of your marriage it will calculate the charges and reflect it at the end, for payment. Hope this works for you.
I think the best way is to go to the SDM office and know about online procedure and schedule from there. This process is half online and half offline. I had my registration done today and got to know that I could have come to SDM office before my scheduled appointment also.

Agar aapne centre mei documents submit kr diye hain or biometric ho gya h. To within 1 week mei provisional certificate aajata hai if your application type is tatkal otherwise 2 to 3 weeks mei aajana chahiye if the application type is normal. Or complete process mei max to max 21 days lagte hain.
Provisional certification ko SDM office mai signed karwa lete hai and we can take picture. my application is approved I am waiting for certificate, Tatkal appointment wala ka certification kitne business/ working day me show hota hai. 1 week aaj ho gaya hai. Present status- application approved
Once you get the marriage certificate then you can use that for updating address in Aadhaar. Also in aadhaar you can select HOF option and in that the head of family has to accept that request from his/her side and then you don't even need any proof, only self declaration form you have to fill. As per the official site, rent agreement can be produced as address proof. Please check the website once to confirm this :dmnewdelhi.delhi.gov.in/service/marriage-registration-certificate/ Actually in our case we have primary applicant from Delhi and secondary from UP. So we did not face this issue as we had aadhaar card as proof for delhi residence. Also, witness Id proof should also have delhi's address.
Sorry for the late reply. But I think as you have already booked your appointment online without paying online, then you can pay at the window. No issue in that because you have to be present there during your appointment. So no need to worry.
@@lifewithaditimayank correct, so put this on record for the people who wants to select pay at window OR have selected pay at window, there will be an option of paying at counter there via Debit Card only. Please note that credit card won't work. On the first window they will first check the documents and will route you to the second window where photos will be taken. On the same window they will ask you to pay if you have selected pay at the window option. After that one application number will be generated and will get tagged to you application automatically

Witnesess can be any one from india not from delhi
In our case we had members from both the family but they considered witness from Delhi only with Delhi ID.

Uttarakhand gyi thi matlab shaadi UK me hui. To vhi ka shaadi ke venue ka address daalo. They will check your marrriage card too. Usme address hoga.
