I'm Orthodox but I LOVED his speech. I wish my husband and I had found our faith younger but by chance we met as teenagers and married and started having children relatively young anyway. The guy is spot on with his speech; I was lied to about what would be important to me as I became a grown womn and what's more is I was told, once I realized what I really wanted to do (be a housewįfe) just before we graduated, that it wasn't enough and people were really negative. For any girls out there; it is enough. Look how much this man values his wife. Her children will surly value her just as much. I know my husband and children feel the same. Who else matters anyway? I am a 71-year-old “trad” wife. If I had not been home with our four children, if we were having to swap off childcare, my husband would not have been able to build a business that has supported us so very well.

My wife says the same thing. Unfortunately with the increased cost of living after Covid, and the fact we were the victims of a "bait and switch" first home owners building scam by the Australian government, she's had to go to work part time after 10 years of being out of the workforce.
The Bait and switch scam was to offer $45,000 of grants and 2% interest rates only to have the builders stop offering build packages and increase prices after it started followed by it taking 3.5 years to finish the house and interest rates going from 2% to 7.5% while we pay rent AND loan interest. All of this consumed the grant money and suckered us into a contract we can't get out of despite them completely changing the terms of the contract.
The banks and builder responses would likely be "You're in a contract now, Suckers."
