Scripture Passage: Hebrews 11:30-34
In this life, we will experience situations in which we’ve tried to trust in God and our faith seems to fail. What do we do when we face trials, tribulations, or heartaches, and faith doesn’t seem to remove them?
Hebrews 11 gives us insight for those who struggle to endure when times get tough.
First, this passage reminds us that mature faith believes in the supernatural power of God.
“...who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong...” (Hebrews 11:33-34).
Mature believers know that God can do anything but fail.
Anyone who has walked with Jesus for a long time has had an experience that can’t be explained apart from His power.
When reminded of the numerous miracles of God, we can be comforted to know that if God does not do something, it is not because He cannot.
Second, mature faith bows to the sovereign purposes of God.
“Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection” (Hebrews 11:35).
Sometimes, God’s ways are mysterious, but that doesn’t mean they’re weak. Many of the early Christians were martyred for their faith; many Christians around the world still are.
God has not promised a life without difficulty. He has simply promised Himself. He will never leave or forsake us, especially when we face difficulty. We must hold onto the promise that, through Him, we have the ultimate victory over death.
Finally, mature faith is based on the settled promises of God.
“And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us” (Hebrews 11:39-40).
When faith seems to fail, it may be that we are asking for something that God never intended for us. We must remember that God has a wonderful plan, and He will bring it to pass. We can depend on His steadfast, eternal promises from Scripture.
Adrian Rogers says, “Real faith is to center your life on Almighty God.”
Apply it to your life

I will keep walking in faith. Even though it’s difficult. I will praise Jesus even in my times of despair. These past years have been difficult on me. But with the Lord’s strength, I have persevered. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Groceries are super expensive. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two children. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. To even think about being on the streets with two young children is terrifying. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Faith over fear.

Adrian Rogers was reading one of my favorite chapters, Hebrews 11. Thank the Lord that I was able to be blessed by this ministry.
His sermons lovingly uplift the hopeless and downtrodden during their most difficult times. There isn't a topic he hasn't taken on with eloquence and knowledge. I challenge anyone to find a single scandal marring his character; he is integrally sound, unlike most all the others.

I remember what the Lord Jesus said, flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, do not pray for the abundance of the world, but but every souls be save at the last day, averyhearts must be circumcised under God, so that every Soul can live under God, I don't care anything about the world, everything I see that art in the world it's only temporary, and the world cannot save my soul, but only the Lord Jesus Christ, the only my Lord and Savior, if anyone heart circumcise unto the Lord Jesus Christ, say, Amen!

Faith never fails, men fail to have Faith, True FAITH.
The account of Job is very exemplary of this. Sometimes God will test our faith. Pray we will always, without fail, be faithful to Him. Also, it helps to remember that God, omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient, can see the beginning from the end; He knows what is best for us in the intricacies of His plan. Simply put, we can only see the part of a parade, for example, that is in front of our field of vision; whereas God can see it all as if from the top of a skyscraper.

For the last 30 years, I've done what might be called a "prayer experiment". Every day, I split my prayers evenly between God and a grandfather clock that's been in my family for decades. The results are official: Prayers to God and prayers to the clock are answered at the same rate. It's simply stunning to find out that some prayers to the clock were answered faster than prayers to God. I pray that this comment is helpful to you. Praise! Glory!

Do we have faith to allow God to be God? Do our circumstance dictate how much we trust God? The pauper outside the rich man's mansion beleived God despite his dire circumstances, and was with God immediately upon dying. Can we trust God if we are to the point of lying outside a Ritzy place hoping for scraps to eat? Knowing the lifesaving scraps of food might not come? Can we say with Job "though he slay me yet will I trust him "?

Thank you, this is a wonderful verse of encouragement. The sword of the Word of God is a 2 edged sword, in other words, both sides of the sword are sharp, double edged, not just one, so it is able to cut more deeply. A 2 inch sword would not be too effective. Hebrews 4:12

I can relate. I had been in pits I thought there was no way out. The human experience seems to be a wild ride of extremes and not enough stability. I am sorry to hear you are so low right now. Please don't go through it alone. Usually, we become our own worst enemy as we are sinking into harsh, negative, depressive thoughts and feelings. If you attend church, reach out to leadership. If not, talk to a family member, a friend, a coworker or call a hotline. Just don't give up. You don't see it right now, but you absolutely have a purpose here.

John the Baptist wasn't ready to give up. He was waiting impatiently. He was expecting Jesus to be baptizing with the Holy Ghost; as he said:

But here is what John didnt know:

*John did not know that Jesus must first be put to death and raise again before the promise of the baptism of the Spirit was given.
This world loves not the ways, nor the attributes, nor the things of God! It is no wonder why the Antichrist will easily captivate the world and subdue it, for it is already subdued. The Antichrist is already in control, we are merely waiting for this son of perdition to appear.

Repent while you have a chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior...... I know most will mock, but this is why the Bible said

For the fool says there is no God. The byproduct is that same fool returning to his folly, as a Dog to its vomit........
What's the since of all of this
The since of all of this, is that you need to be saved, saved from what you may ask.. saved from sin that’s in me, you and every single human on this earth, we need a savior to redeem us from all Sinful nature, Jesus Christ died for us all and on the 3rd day he rose from the dead, defeated Sin and Death, now by repenting from your sins you committed against a Holy God our creator you can have a relationship with him who truly loves you.
