Plenty of people were unable to graduate from high school for various reasons and then later passed their GED, going on to have good, respectable lives. There's also been many Republican politicians who went to the best private universities that money could buy but became the biggest POS grifters in D.C. who are doing their damnedest to take away the rights and freedoms of Americans. I wish people wouldn't (inadvertently) pick on people who have or are trying to get their GEDs and instead place the blame on the corrupt politicians who are actively trying to destroy our country and democracy and all because they want the power and money that comes with their positions. This might seem like a silly point when people are just making a joke but it's probably reenforcing the idea that Democrat's are all these college educated elites who are out of touch of what every day Americans are going through when we know that doesn't describe most of us on the left.
The democrats need to get busy and do check-ups on GOP candidates and put up billboards on what they find to stop these unqualified candidates from being elected.

Let me get this straight. A woman who dropped out of high school thinks that she knows what happens in a high school classroom. While she was in some high school classes, no one just wakes up one day and decides to drop out while doing great academics and while going to school on a regular basis. I disagree there. A high school diploma or the equivalent ged test is probably a high enough bat. Issue is, most republicans, including her, couldn't actually pass the GED. And she didn't. Failed it first time. And while I don't think it has been 100% proven, it is likely she cheated or had someone else take it for her to pass the second. So a GED requirement would be enough to disqualify her, and most other republicans.
