Even though they said this game was a "God of War Clone", it was definitely something unique by the fact that u could equip artifacts to boost the weapon damage like a perk, which is something GOW series never even thought to try until GOW 2018 , its a shame though that we never got the sequel even though the teaser trailer was there

i just realized that the parallel to both Kratos and God of War series didn't just stop at the basic gameplay. Dante is a white man marked by bright red stripe across their body, and now fueled with nothing but anger. Both are "motivated" by their own respective God/ Gods, both used to be a loving husband and both were on their on "crusade" to atone for their own 'sins'.
I genuinely really fucking love this game. I think the moves are so cool, especially the Cross related moves. The movement, effects, sound design, all super good. It's also just really strong in general when used, very satisfying.
1. Scythe : Aquired after Dante kill Death back at Acre. Becoming his weapon from there on. The scythe able to be retracted like a whip and blade. It can also gave him an Unholy abilities. 2. Cross : Beatrice's Cross which was given to Dante. He use the object to perform Holy Abilities. Such as shooting Cross-shaped divine force blast. Or create a devastating Light that can either Absolved or Punish the Damned Souls. 3. Righteous Path : A Holy power, allow Dante to dash while elaving away a trail of ice shards 4. Martyrdom : A Holy power that sacrifice Dante's health and mana, but deal a heavy damage. 5. Divine Armor : Gave Dante's regenerative health and protection from damage. 6. Heaven's Embrace : Unleashing an energy crystal that explode on contact with enemy or create a barrier. 7. Lust Storm : Gain after killing Cleopatra, allow Dante to create a vortex of Pink Lightning and Wind. 8. Sisn fo the Father : Gain when he kill Aleghiero, allow Dante to co jure his Father's golden cross that attack enemy several times. 9. Suicide Fruit : An Unholy power that stun enemy when Dante slam the Suicide Tree's fruit to the ground. 10. Putrid Voice : An Unholy power that make Dante to vomit a deadly acid into the enemies.

Why do i feel like the scythe moveset feels very fitting for Devil Sword Sparda or Sparda him self, i mean the sword have three forms: Sword, Scythe and Spear and the weapon can extend it self
Ngl these grunts and screams attacking fit so nice, DmC Dante did the same, obviously I think peoplel agree voice lines instead like "Breakdown!" or "Blastoff!"
Hope you’ll do showcases of the game onimusha as well. That game had a lot of contributions to the creation of dmc, gameplay wise. Of course no pressure though

This is what i like about this channel the editing, this is probably the only good moveset video of this game keep it up man.

Nothig bad, it probably needs more weapons but the magic compensates, scythe can parry and divine armor gives holy protection 7/10
