I agree with the MP frame data change But here's some changes i would like: • Bakkai input needs to change to 214 Kick to avoid doing arrow • Jaime needs an OD drink that is FAST and gives him only 1 drink for certain MUs • *and this last one is slice of life* when he's 4 drinks the second palm follow up should armor break
@kaution6829 I'm not even asking for crazy buffs like him keeping drinks from round to round. Or making Bakkai projectile invulnerable. It just viscerally bothers me that there's an od amnesia and not an od drink

I don't see why L1 super doesnt have some frames of invincibility to projectiles since is so similar to bakkai in terms of animation. i know its not the rule in regards to L1 super, but it would be cool to have other characters afraid of throwing fireballs in certain situations.
This was the case in the beta but removed straight after the 1st beta for every single L1, it was really fun to use it this way but deemed to strong I suppose since you can build meter fairly easy
The extra frame on the 5MP on block and actually on hit as well would be very good. Since the 5mp ob usually trades with 5LP (for some reason) and the 2LP doesn't have much reach
Yk, I think Jamie would do well to have EX palm be projectile invul at levels 3 and 4. Have it cost 3 instead of two bars though because it'd still have the other qualities like combo in the corner, but would be the get in tool that Jamie desprately needs imo
Excellent analysis. His corner pressure is pretty close to Elite now, but he still has the same problems fundamentally. Hoping for some tweaks in the big patch Season 2

The changes are a good start, but a lot more work is needed to get Jamie to a strong level. If you went to Rashid like a lot of Jamie players did, these changes are still not enough to make you come back. Jamie has to be at least on the level of Rashid, or ex-Jamie players are going to just keep using Rashid.
Jamie already had the choice of drink or pressure after a throw, he just had to pick which throw to do. It really only sucked to make that choice if you had your opponent fairly close to the corner but you were on 0 drinks. I feel like the changes don't adress his actual problems and it's worrying to see, because it makes me think capcom don't know what they're doing and we're going to have another year of Jamie being a meme character. Being able to be plus after a throw + drink is big though, don't get me wrong. I think his game plan has to be more focused on getting the opponent to the corner now.

It's unreliable even before the patch, I go for 5lk 2lp into TC if its not a counter hit ofc
5MP into drive impact would be pretty cool
It doesn't make him top tier, but he's more fun! I can't imagine him getting worse in the next balance patch

Rashids mix up potential in the corner is ridiculous, great conversions, really good sa2, good fireball. He's really strong

Personally I need to stop using crouching MK. It gets DI'd often.
