Thanks for the kind words! When you sell a security, it typically takes 2 days for the cash to settle. If you're trading with unsettled funds and then sell that same security before the initial sale has settled, it's a "good faith violation". What this means is, for day trading, you'd be limited to the initial deposit until the funds settle. If frequent day trading is your plan, consider looking into margin accounts or try talking to their customer service first. Hope this helps!

Hmmm that is automatically adjusted based on your cost position, cannot edit unless you sell certain positions. Can also try asking their customer service on how to fix that (incase i misunderstood you). Have a great day!

Hi Irfan, there's no limit of amount of trades actually. But you are unable to buy new stocks so fast because the settlement period is usually about 2 days. So your cash will only be available for trading 2 days later.
@@irfan83amu this is why it's good to keep a reasonable amount of liquid cash rotating with your holdings. You don't want to be in a position where you have to sell one asset to buy another because you may miss the optimal investment waiting for your sell trade to clear smh

How come l get 35 cents commission for US domiciled stocks but not for cspx( Ireland domiciled)
Ireland domiciled ETFs are trades on London stock Exchange (UK) - so have to refer UK commission structure, not US

You can rest assured your data is well protected with them 😊 Otherwise, you can ask them if you can provide alternative verification document, hope this helps!

Hi, whenever i'm placing my buy order i am getting a prompt "buy 34 SWN NYSE@ 7.31 CASH AVAILABLE(SETTLED CASH): 106; CASH NEEDED FOR THIS ORDER AND OTHER PENDING ORDERS: 249.00 (one of my order). and my order will not push thru. what does this mean? what can i do to avoid this. thanks.
Hi I’m very frustrated with interactive brokers I mean I’m trying to find out how to deposited usd from an Canadian bank it’s in usd but won’t let me pic it when filling out form and then I wait and no small deposited to approve that account since it’s in usd and I spent whole day trying to find info on web and I don’t know how to contact customer support please let me know if you have any idea on this and how to contact customer support or if someone else has info do let me know if I can’t deposited or speak to some one I can’t use interactive brokers
Hi Elena, your issue could be depositing from a multi currency bank account - for which i believe its not a supported feature.
