I hate diminished chords and I am constantly disappointed with my ideas. I get most of what you are teaching, thanks.
A gypsy player once showed me a weird scale they use. R b9 #9 3 #4 #5 6 7. It can sound pretty good.
I’ve never heard of a harmonic major!! Maybe I shouldn’t go there. 😂
