Yup, and the longer we owned it & more seat time we had, the more things we found we hated. You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out with us if this one flops like the other one or not.
Try again…..this video was recorded before they took it off-roading. They think it’s awesome, you’ll see. But what then? U won’t believe them right? Lol
Hey Kevin I remember you kids anouncing you were homless, that you was camping on the trails, and eating mountain house, the money will come and go but memories are forever, your doing great 👍
Kevin videos!!! These are great. I get the “ok, my wife said I have to do my part too and here it is” vibe in these. Surprisingly I really like them. Keep up the great content. I’m sure she’ll edit and make them awesome.
I remember back in the 80's on I-15 was 55 MPH, I remembered that because I got a ticket right where you are at Point of the Mountain for doing 63 in a 55.
"You don't feel other cars when you run them over". Great selling point. I haven't heard that expression since talking to tank drivers years ago, when I was in the Army. I do agree, for the price you paid for it, expectations are high. So, Good Luck with your Ford, I mean it this time.
The tyre sidewall compliance is what helps you offroad... Having more compliant sidewalls means you can leave more air pressure in them, means more stability once the sidewall starts flexing etc. The sidewall and the air in the tyre act as springs working together... If one spring is too stiff, then it prevents the other spring from doing it's job... It's a bit of a compromise in terms of sidewall performance, because being close to maximum rating means you get best stiffness adjustability with air pressure, but , to some extent extra sidewall thickness helps, assuming that you're not too far out of the window in tyre pressure.
That’s pretty awesome! I can’t wait till you start testing in the Raptor! This will be a great series!! Let goooooooooo!!! I’m still a Jeep guy 100%!!!
The only Bronco I have ever owned was the 71 1/2 cab with a stock 302 speed on the tree. Had Q Buckshot murder tires and I pulled out every kind of jeep on the road back in 76 - 79 that Bronco would like go anywhere and I never had to use my wench for myself. ALWAYS got me home even with a broken axle or universal joint at the front wheel. Even broke a rear axle at the outer bearing and didn't know it until the wheel and tire passed me when it suddenly slowed down. Just put the tire in the bed and locked in the front hubs and drove it back home with 3 tires on the ground lol. Those were the days. I had a 73 K5 Utility. Loved it too. I liked it when I take the top off a just ride along the back roads or drive 100 miles to Memphis TN. With the 37 tires and a 6 inch lift the speedometer was off a lot lol. It had pos traction front and rear. That was great for level ground muddy conditions but on a side slope not so much. Had Z71's too but the K 5 was my favorite.
I live in Austin Tx and their is a Ford dealership called Mac Haik of George Town and they sell all their vehicles at MSRP Broncos and Raptors as well you just have to get one when they are on the lots because they sell fast . Go burnt Orange Long horns 🤘🏽all day !!! 😅
Very happy for you all !!! You guys work so hard and it is awsome to see your success you deserve all you have and more!!! Big fan hope to meet you all one day!
I have a 18 jk 2 door willys 3 inch lift 34 inch KM3's 82000 miles and no vibration at 106 mph on the interstate ! love that solid live axle front end on the JK.
Just a pointer....use the weighted beads inside the tires. I've used them once and always will now. It helps keep them balanced even if you get mud in the rims. Obviously if There's a ton of mud they'll still shake but I've had great experience with the weighted beads
So the raptor package should include ford offroad event. If you look at the window sticker it should say on there. But when you sign up (by vin) tell them your the orig purchaser. I went to the race event. It's was all paid. Killer hotel. Nice meal. But it's an all day event. Worth checking out.
Hey kids..., the Bronco's (that) orange & subtle toned blue you would think it wouldn't work. But it's not bad! Sounds really solid & quieter too. We're looking forward to Kevin putting it through its paces & no doubt he'll want to challenge it more. And how about Brittany rock & rolling it too. Her input is just as professional as Kev's... Be safe out there kids...
I’m a hard core Chevy guy, but props to Ford on the new Bronco. Somebody with connections needs to give GM a strong push to produce a K5 Blazer with the styling of the 71-72 body style. BTW, I have a 85 K5 and a 71 Cheyenne pickup in my collection, along with my prized 67 Camaro and a 01 WS6 T/A with LS1 and 6 speed manual.
I am an admitted Ford guy. But I am not either or, I like the Chevys too. I do wish that Chevy would have done a restyled K5. 1st Gen Blazers were very cool. My brother in law owns a newer Colorado diesel and loves it. They gotta come up with something.
I was so disappointed when Chevy finally brings back the Blazer and builds something to compete with the Kia Sorento. I would like to talk to the person that made that decision.
The shaking is wheel balance. With huge tires at 80 MPH they really have to be balanced well. Most shops won't get the balanced well enough, heck even dirt on the tires can throw them off.
90K for the top tier Bronco and 90K for a top tier Wrangler, but with the Wrangler you get the 392 and the 8 speed. Competition for Jeep is a good thing but I just don't see the Bronco being any better. Yes I'm a Jeep guy and have been for my whole life but I like the Bronco. Had they used a solid axle front I'd have one beside the Wrangler in the driveway.
I'm glad y'all are staying true to yourselves and going to do legitimate stress tests! That has been something that has been bothering me about other Bronco Raptor videos on UA-cam. I also was thinking about the Demon Child about half way through the video and was wondering when I would see it at the house! The 3 rigs look sick next to each other and I can't wait to see what y'all have in store for the new Plan B.
What's Shakin' Kevin?! Don't mince words - tell us what you really think. Mexico? Stay focused. I love that Ford Red (you say orange..). Why didn't Ford just make all the Broncos like this in the first place?! I know - $. They didn't balance the tires? Chinsy, Ford. Nittos to the rescue. Interesting all the improvements over the blue one. This will be fun to watch. LIteBriteNationBroncoInTheBalance!
Hmmmm.......all the way to Mexico and back in 300 mi, your shortcut beats mine! Your biggest gripe about the Badlands was the transfer case, the Raptor must have a totally different set-up. Can`t wait for all the testing on the tough trails to see if this one is worth the cost of 2 Badlands.
Awesome Video Kevin, we just got our Bronco 2 days ago and we are very impressed with it... But we will have to see how it compares to our Eco Diesel JLU on 40's. Love the new Bronco Raptor !! Congrats you guys.
Man car and truck prices have gotten crazy. Even the MSRP is as much as I paid for my first house. It seems to me that across all manufacturers the over quality of vehicles has gone down.
The money part sucks while your cutting the check but we both know this will pay huge dividends for your channel being early on real unbiased BRaptor content. Congrats on getting this to all line up in time man!
Kevin it is the bfg ko2s. They came on the Toyota FJ cruiser trail teams. There was a tsb from Toyota to remove them because they would shake and shimmy and it couldn't be balanced out.
Wheel weighs generally fall of when off roading, I usually install bead bags in the tire for balancing big tires use 2 bags per tire works well on 35” and up.
I wanted a f150 raptor since the first one I saw but could never afford one. I spent the summer building a 2017 F150. It was XL supercrew 5.0 when I started. Now it’s on kings methods 35s exhaust bumpers chase rack with spare carrier 8 KC gravity’s a few goodies under the hood leather seats with custom embroidery and a 13in t-style radio. I’m so glad I did a build instead of buying a raptor. Me and 2 friends had a blast doing it and other than parts it only cost a couple pizzas and a few 12pks. The best part is I did it. The only shop it saw was the tire shop to mount tires and an alignment

Well done video Kevin. I get your excitement but I think I share Brittany's opinion. I really don't like the Broncos in general but over $100K is madness.
I've bought three different trim 4Runners and all three had shaking issues at high speeds. Its just a thing with new cars or at-least off-road vehicles that the manufacture and/or dealership doesn't know how to balance tires. Everyone may not have this issue, but I have so feel your frustration on the shake.
I always found it a lot of fun when I crossed the border from Utah to Mexico; Not just for unlimited kilometer speed but those border tacos are delicious. just don’t get kidnapped Kevin ;)
That's what I really like watching u guys ...of your true honest work..keep it up ..Kevin is right about Ford having their own trails to test out the Broncos and editing their videos. Soon will find out about this Bronco Raptor could really do. Not a big fan of IFS systems on a 4x4
The shaking is probably the tires. I had that issue on my jk. I replaced every bushing, ball joints and upgraded the drag link and tie rod. Slight shake at 70mph. replaced tires and shake went away.
I wrote this during the video before you replaced the tires. I figured that was the issue. Those are the same tires I did. I love them. Your going to be super happy with them. Can't wait to see you beat that ford up and see what it can do or break.
Love the raw realness of this video. I'm completely against fords since I've had nothing but issues with them (other then the 91 ford ranger 4cyl, that's the only one that kept going, but all real trucks have failed me from ford)... that being said... this does look pretty nice. Also, I wish you guys had wheeled it with the stock BFGs on it and then with the Nittos so you could tell us the difference between the two. I know you're not in the business of tire reviewing but still. Tires are probably the most important mod you can make to your rig.
Congrats on your new kid lol, it looks great byh the way, finally we are going to see a real test on the Bronco, can wait to see the video as always great work guys!
Congrats on the new new. Glad to see the fleet (most of it) all together. Excited to see how it compares to the 392. Sorry you couldnt find a better deal in time for the fall season but im sure you guys will make it worth while as you always do. Good Job on the vlog Kev.
@@nicholassbardella6045 I believe I heard them mention previously comparing this to a friend’s 392. Think it was in their previous video. Please, Correct me if I’m wrong. I may also be remembering a brief discussion I had with Brit at off-road expo recently.
That interior is the same as a Base, just dressed up. I for one love the base interior, its basic and functional yet unique. The switchgear feels great and everything is in the right place. Honestly I think the Base bronco has a much nicer interior than the Jeep Gladiator Willies I rented for a week. I don't notice any shake in my Base on the highway, its surprising well composed for any vehicle, especially an off road orientated vehicle.
My 2022 JLU had a shake off the dealer lot. After going through almost every thing that spins, it turns out it was warped wheels. The shake would get worse the more lugnut torque was increased, and was minimized, but not eliminated at 80lbft. I think manufacturers are cheaping out on the wheels in these high end off road models.
Watching you record at higher speed(90+). Seemed the shake dampened out. Then you pointed out that from factory not balanced. Did pretty well for non-balanced tires. Anyway hope the Pretty car survives Trail Hero as seems the bottom is not very well protected. Crossing my fingers that it survives with minimal body damage.
They aren't doing cooled on purpose. The cooled are ventilated seats. They expect you to get dust/dirt/or mud in the vehicle (which was the intention of the vinyl seats) but the ventilated seats would let that get in the seats and ruin the fan system.
Can’t wait to see these Bronco Raptor videos! Bring on the Raptor vs 392 comparison!🎉
Baddest truck in the fleet hands down!!!
Be interesting to see how long before you hate this one too. I remember when you got the badlands you had lots of good things to say about it then.

Congrats on the new new. Glad to see the fleet (most of it) all together. Excited to see how it compares to the 392. Sorry you couldnt find a better deal in time for the fall season but im sure you guys will make it worth while as you always do. Good Job on the vlog Kev.
What 392?
@@nicholassbardella6045 I believe I heard them mention previously comparing this to a friend’s 392. Think it was in their previous video. Please, Correct me if I’m wrong. I may also be remembering a brief discussion I had with Brit at off-road expo recently.
10:33 That 392.
I wish I could afford one but will have to watch you enjoy this one !
That’s a real off-road vehicle like them are some real
The shake is tire balance, crappy bfg tires. you could get them balanced but I would ditch them and put better tires on it!
Shocker... didn't see that coming. ;) Strange, my Bronco doesn't have any vibration up to 100 mph.
... can't wait for you to drive this Beast ...
Thank you for your time.
You're the best! This is my obligatory comment to enhance your UA-cam algorithm performance.
Enjoyed the vid Kev. Can't wait for the expensive Bronco content.
Tease! .... Staying "tuned"
Another amazing video! Thank you for the awesome content!
12:30 first impression love is over.
Thing's progress. Jeep needs this kind of competition
