  • In this video editing tutorial, we will learn how to blur/pixelate a face and track a moving face by creating a moving mask to track one or multiple people who need their identity concealed. We will also take a look at using pitch shifter and a couple high/lowpass filters to garble and alter somebody’s voice to the point where it is unrecognizable. If you need to conceal a person’s identity, whether visual or audio, this it the Premiere Pro tutorial for you!

thanks for your video ! for anyone out there, if you have more than one face to cover up, use a lot of adjustement layer and use the spacebar/play stop to adjust the mozaic rond layer over the faces, it's hard but it's doable.

Wow. I was using Premiere for a couple of months now. While I knew how to pixelate one thing, I had no idea when you said you would do it to the other guy. Somehow the whole point of having an adjustment layer escaped my mind!

You switched the function of a high and lowpass. A lowpass cuts off the frequencies *above* the given frequency, the highpass cuts off the frequencies *below* the given frequency.

adjustment layers Mask not tracking in premiere pro cc 2018

I am trying to add an adjustment Layer to track faces with a Mask but it wont track even if I do it manually
I had a 40 minutes video that I had to blur out faces for my work and I had to do it all on one layer because the ajustment layers would not work.

What is it that I am doing wrong?
    Please advise

    Manon

Love your videos, but I hope others realize the pixalated modifications are easily reconstructed. Sorry to be Mr "well actually"... But just a warning for your viewers that some kind of black bar cover up is better for private items like passwords etc. Very informative video though. Sorry to be that guy.

Did I see that right? High pass filter at 23 kHz? Human range stops at 20 kHz. What you mean is low pass. If it was a high pass, no one could hear the audio anymore. Also, setting the low pass that high makes it completely useless. This is why I pull my hair out when video people try and do audio.

I literally did everything told in this video, is there some sort of feature or something I forgot to prep for before doing this?
