Only just saw this video - great work and great demo. I've had the 3 leaf TT parabolics since May 2019 and they have been fantastic. I have a Troopy and I'm weight conscious so am usually around 3300kg fully loaded for outback travel. I purchased the full suspension kit from them and they supplied longer rear shackles so mine might sit a little bit higher than yours did with the 3 leaf. I'd never go back to the very heavy 8-11 leaf packs.
Phil, are you running the SE high clearance plates on the troopy. Just fitted some terrain tamer parabolics with remote res shocks, now looking at the high clearance plates. Just wanted to know how they fitted. Cheers
@philg2468 Hey mate, I'm trying to decide on the 300-500kg 3 leaf vs 500-700kg 4 leaf. I've got 2022 Troopy, will be a light weight tourer, won't get to GVM. Any thoughts?
@@wozandnic Sorry, been travelling and just saw your reply. If you want 20mm of extra rear lift at 3300kg then go with the 3 leaf. If you want 50mm rear lift at 3300kg, go the 4 leaf. I have 20mm lift front springs, because I don't like too much lift on a Troopy, so 3 leaf suits me fine.
The best thing about you and a lot of other Australian UA-camrs Vs American's is you don't throw the inevitable "Follow/subscribe to Me"..." Please hit the like button". Well done man!
Great demo mate. I could use your help... I have a very very heavy hzj78 troopy. 3500kg. 2100kg on the rear axle. I'm running the +800kg OME leafs with one extra leaf. The ride is ok but they are too heavy and the clearence is mucho lower now. Could the TTamer parabolics hold correctly the weight I have on the troopy?? Or can we add a extra leaf to?
Mmmmmmm im not sure, sounds like the sort of weight id be at with my tray loaded and my comp trucks ball weight on my 79.. Damn Heavy, my 700kg parabolics would not hold that weight without the help of my airbags, so that may be an option you could consider? Im not sure they do an extra leaf in their packs, guess you could ask them....

I noticed that the load spring, the bottom leaf that sits flat, tends to spear into the rocks when you try to walk over rock ledges. I wonder if this leaf was shortened by 100mm at the front edge, would allow the wheel to contact the rock without the spring leaf stabbing into it first?
Only problem there is when you relying on that leaf to be a "load" leaf when fully loaded, it may not be long enough, also on up travel you want it as long as it is, in my opinion...
