    Stylema calipers have 30mm pistons, you'll need a 17mm master cylinder to make them work properly. With the standard 19mm master you'll get a wooden feeling from the lever. there is also nothing wrong with the M4.32 calipers with decent pads.

      I put the Stylemas, Brembo RCS17 and rotors on my 2021 Panigale V2 in June. I am in Austin TX and track at COTA often (a very fast track). This system is lightyears away from OEM. Also, replaced the quick-shifter with a Translogic which fixed all of the mis-shifts.

    Hi Bill, i little bit feel too expensive the 330 discs. The pair cost here around 1700 eur. Do you think there is a huge difference between the 320-330 combo with stylema ? 320 supersport cost around 650-700. Of course using on track. Thx

      Also one thing I would also change is both the masters. You got new amazing calipers and disc, so it’s a same not to get both clutch and brake instead of just brake.. Also it’s a track bike so they wouldn’t be a waste of money. Other than that the only thing missing from this bikes is the fork. You could get fork inserts or a full fork. Great upgrade for track and street!

      We have cartridges already waiting to be installed 🎉
      As mentioned several times in the video we're waiting on several partys to physically fit the master onto the bike 😂 stay tuned

    They are amazing on the Track. I put the Brembo RCS 17, Stylema, Pads and Supersport rotors. I run at COTA... The combo is amazing. Also upgraded to a Translogic quick shifter... it took out the mis-clicks.

      We have the cordona but will likely be replacing that with something else. Not 100% happy with the cordona. It's better than oem but still a bit temperamental.

    Nice background music addition, right amount of loudness to it. Those brembo calipers would fit on my mt9 like a glove, or at least hang them on the shelf to look cool

    So after changing the front brakes. Will this give you better braking over the stock system? I understand you’ve had issues.
    I’ve got 3k miles on my V2 now and even after 500 miles I felt the brakes have faded more and more. Just don’t seem to have that bite or stopping power they did the first 500miles. I really want to do this.
    Looking forward to any updates.
    Thank you for all your great videos.

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 роки тому +1

      Unless you're planning on (seriously) tracking the bike, we don't recommend spending all the money on this set up. Get the brakes bled properly and consider better brake pads.

  • @tezzasaurusrex
    @tezzasaurusrex Рік тому

    Hi Bill, nice video. Can you elaborate on what the issues were that you had on the stock braking system?

  • @kuya4life405
    @kuya4life405 2 роки тому +1

    What’s so special about the new brembo brake calipers? And why didn’t you use the brake pads which came with the new calipers? They look solid with air cracks which provides a strong stopping power. Will you use the same setup on your s1000rr?

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 роки тому +1

      The brake pads that came with the brakes were simple street pads. They won't cut it on the track.
      Stylema calipers manage the heat during track riding a lot better leaving a more consistent feel throughout the session.

  • @DonPulpote

    Finally people who do real mods, not just expensive visual crap. Thank you. Can you comment on the performance difference of the Stylema/330 setup vs standard? Will they significantly cut the breaking distance on the road? Any other less obvious advantages?

    • @CaliMotoTV
      @CaliMotoTV  2 роки тому +1

      We didn't change it for reducing braking distance on the street. On track the braking feels a lot more predictable and let's us hold the lever more confidently into the apex. For street riding the oem brakes are fine.

    I like to exchange the M4.32 to the Stylema on my V2. Question, does the ABS still work as supposed to be, as the Stylema got 30mm pistons instead of the 32mm from the M4 ?

  • @eitanhawk

    Isn’t the combination with the 18mm master Cylinder way too stiff?
