Despite being a sales disappointment, the 2009 Wolfenstein was one of my favorite PS3 games. It's too bad that it hasn't been available digitally since 2014. I really wanna play it again.
Like I already mentioned in the Community tab, I will be releasing videos on a schedule now, starting with 2 uploads per week and planning to increase to 3 uploads per week soon. Link to the schedule is in the top right corner of the channel.
Question, allegedly after a player collects all the tomes of power in the game, they get all the upgrades for the Medallion for free on the spot. Assuming that's true, will you be cheesing this? That is, selling all your medallion upgrades for extra cash and getting them back for free by collecting the final tome.
Is it just me do you also feel that just many say all the soldiers are evil sure theyre germans in ww2 but not all were buying into the supremacy bs so in a nutshell some might just be normal troops which makes me feel kinna weird that games give off killing bad guys but its kinna sucks cause alot these guys might just be following order so its just like doom only with a leader exploiting his own people for his bs so i guees may the game god grant some of these troops some peace in the afterlife
I remember playing the demo disk for this and darkest of days back when it was coming out. they were on the same disk, and my neighbor and I played it for hours on end until he got the actual game
Slight problem, you might want to change the color of the strip in the video thumbnail. Otherwise it makes the red bar that shows how much of the video you watched not distinguishable.
I wished this was still on PC digitally. I played the demo ages ago and it was pretty good, but I wasn't allowed to buy games at the time considering I was like... 12 or something. That and my family would have to drive to Gamestop to get it.
This is fun game, and thats a strong, fun intro cinematic to it. Pity the game has...more or less NO spywork for a game that opens with you pretending to be a general. I"m all fine with it being a shooter with supernatural powers but..you tease me with this 'dress up as ageneral" thing..and than its not there. Oh well, theirs plenty of positive things to say about it in the comming videos :D
I agree with this, I mean BJ is mostly one man army badass, but actually they repeat often in lore that he's a spy and with this intro you might expect to do some stealth / spy missions. TBH some slower / undercover parts could be a nice addition :)
It appears this game is avoiding them because stealth in RtCW was a bit of a nightmare. Remember the forest level? Oh, and 3D had way worse "stealth", if one's curious.
Just continuing on from the RtCW improved playthrough. Will be curious on how this sequel could fare for me, especially in case the Microsoft merge with Activision brings this back to storefronts. 0:05: May you please leave the Call of Duty mines someday. 0:25: Oh, boo and hiss. 0:34: I assume this is before D-Day, 1944. 0:38: I do not remember German WW2 battleships carrying missiles like the Missouri and Iowa from the Gulf War years later. In-game subtitles are here. Convenient. 1:24: Protect the man, oh RtCW Allied pistol! 1:41: That musical theme, it's from the last game. 2:02: Enter the benevolent playable Macguffin for this game, I think. That ability is gonna be acquired later in the game, I'll predictably admit. Wow, B.J. Blazkowicz just succeeded where the British campaign of Call of Duty 1 slowly did and possibly failed at: the commando sinking of the German battleship Tirpitz. 2:53: Good, you can talk again, agent. OSA Director's office doesn't seem to be the same as in 1943's. 3:20: And he sounds different too, unamusingly. Also, how is Jack sounding and looking different too? 3:40: The Star Wars Legends criminal organization from the Shadows of the Empire multimedia? I doubt patologTV will try out that uber hard video game from there. 3:51: Ah, we got a continuity nod from those RtCW readables, that's good. 4:04: Bet you didn't search enough. They may be in Antarctica, Australia, the Moon, Venus, or Mars and its moons too. 4:15: Good old friends from before, but they're overreaching their secret boundaries. 4:55: No R&R For The Living, B.J. Blazkowicz. Yes, had to reference the Doom II expansion again, no regrets. 5:08: Rise and shine, William Joseph Blazkowicz. Rise and shine, and wake up to smell the ashes. 5:21: Blown again? 5:31: Is it possible that you could have saved them had you not exposed yourself? Friendlies and innocents dying because of your deeds? That seems new to the series, barring Agent One. 6:09: An informant? Then there's a traitor among... nah, not gonna name that. 6:33: As expected, a secret. Hmm, they have monetary value. Upgrades, he said? Curious. Well, at least you've been charitably given the classic MP40 again. 7:37: Voiced readables? Also new. 8:21: Did... I just hear a Nazi gurgling blood? Looks like you either have regenerating health (Call of Duty 2 onwards, like it or not) from the Thule Medallion or weaponized luck (the Uncharted series, like that or not). 9:24: That's wasteful. 10:03: Excellent, actually. Used Dynamite well against some blobby Olaric. 10:22: Tough luck, witch. 11:11: Did not notice you actually picked up a Mauser/Kar98. Will it be scoped later, perchance? Credit where it's due, this game seems to have better damage feedback from foes compared to The New Colossus. That game can get harder than it should be because of a few questionable changed from The New Order. 12:25: Not unlike the Lambda Resistance from Half-Life 2, non? 13:29: Must be sabotage. KCs, please stop ordering B.J. around. And KCs, you should have let B.J. plant the Dynamite. 15:08: Gravity Falls... 17:47: Ooh, a notable friend of Billy in The New Order and the initial parts of The New Colossus. This should be interesting. I'm gonna assume B.J. dyed his blondish hair to brunette due to some other prior operation. All in all, so far so good, watching all this. Will expect the flaws that made sure the game got a tepid reaction from Activision and MachineGames afterwards, though, but even then, I'll judge them by their own merits.
That and the intro one's like please don' kill me! I only wish more action games have a few enemies retreat mechanic like if take some of the guards in quick or without dmg then some run away or off themselves it would make the enemies more realistic either die fighting or die another day would be funny!
Hey do you own a copy of the game or you pirated it? If you pirated the game can you recommend from which site to get it, in the latest version of the game. I downloaded it but the one I got runs bad cuz the setting do not work correctly. :(
And GOG. Here's to hoping the Microsoft merger with Activision remedies, complete with MachineGames probably changing its mind and promoting this game again plus a PC port for RtCW's Xbox-exclusive Cursed Sands missions in case they're finally doing a Wolfenstein III.
BJ WE NEED YOU DEFENDING US WITH THE MG42BJ WE NEED YOU DEFENDING US WITH THE MG42BJ WE NEED YOU DEFENDING US WITH THE MG42BJ WE NEED YOU DEFENDING US WITH THE MG42
Why does BJ's hair change in every game? In the first one, it was a reddish color, in RTCW it was brown, in this one it's black, and in TNO and TNC it's blonde. Please tell me I'm not the only one who notices that.

Well, they also released Singularity a year after this, which was a really good game, but it sold poorly. That was the last nail in the coffin, I suppose.
@@patologTV yeah, if I remember correctly from back then, after Wolfenstein was the first round of big layoffs and after Singularity the studio was basically gutted. I'm still not sure why Singularity didn't perform well, maybe Activision wasn't comfortable sinking a lot of money into advertisement after the loss on Wolfenstein.
This game is often over-looked. Massively underrated
Indeed.
For sure
Got that right. It's one of my favorites.
Honestly, the effects when you shoot someone, the death gurgle, all of this game was amazing.

If the PS3 60 (that variant that has PSX and PS2 Emulators) still exists today.
@@michaelandreipalon359 I did track down an original PS3 copy from Gamestop shortly after I commented this, and have held onto it.
Why should I need to buy a console when I could just patiently wait for it to get delisted for the PC?
