It is a lovely Clubman. I am loving my new-to-me 2020 Clubman JCW. The only things it is missing in my book are adaptive cruise control and that the center screen would do full-screen instead of stuck in split screen. But at least I am finally behind the wheel of a Mini!
Its a shame. I loved my clubman. It combines the practical and sportiness too. Glad it is not going to be turned into an electric version, if I'm honest.
It looks stupid with the copper/bronze grille but still having chrome below the windows. The trim should be consistently one color. I like the Clubman but wouldn't get that edition due to the exterior looks and gimmicky final edition logo even on the key. I think that edition is for collectors who will garage it for years rather than driving it, hoping it will appreciate in value in 20 years or so. (For the money for that one I bet you can get a JCW model with 301hp.)
the beltline chrome is more than just "trim" it's a major styling queue for the car - if you were to see this in a black beltline against a black (or in this case dark dark blue) that separation between body and "green house" wouldn't really be there. That said in most other colors I really like the black beltline - from MINI the replacement trim is about $500-600
@@alias19 Agreed. I like the traditional look better without the "steampunk" attempt with the brass accents. Guess that car is for the few that are looking for a unique looking Mini and are willing to pay a premium for it.
Custom as in a hand carved chariot deserving of its legacy as it is sent into the afterlife of memory. Instead of a custom job comparable to a curiosity session spent in Forza Horizon with the limitations of only repainting existing plastics. There should be entirely new designed and tailored pieces to pay respect to a brand that holds the title for unique, fun and quirky… this feels lazy in the way of a manager giving up on a lost profit, but being forced to send one last product out with the remaining stock. “Just slap a unique paint job on it and sell what’s left.” It’s BMW they CAN do better and we all know it.
These special editions are low effort. Its some stickers, different color trim, and some badges. The best thing about this edition is the wheels. Everything is is meh at best.

Don't forget the red "S" on the grill. They should make that part bronze as well.

Same as all clubman’s equipped with 18” wheels I would imagine. 54 offset as standard. 18x7
