@@BuckleUpShow We've been here a long time, so it's just "home" these days. We had the first Mark 8 Golf on the island a few years ago, but we were a bit slow ordering the Buzz, and there are already a few on the roads here. Super excited to collect it and have the first drive.

great review. Thanks. My opinion: yeah, no, 58.000 starting price is simply not a realistic offer for the general middle-class. This has been a tendency with VW in the last decades anyway. I'm german and it slowly pi**es me/us off. I think it's the wrong company strategy. I can buy a well optioned Cybertruck for that money, they will start at 50.000.
I saw an optioned out BUZZ standing in the dealership the other day. Sticker price: almost 80k. Nuhuh. Not for an electro-glorified family van. Nice retro design for a minute. a bit eye candy. but nothing to write home about. And who knows where battery life will really land. German car manufacturers have been underperforming when it came to longevity and cold weather conditions. to really convince the public of a potent EV line-up that can rival TESLA, you need to charm the customer with modest entry prices and battery-longevity.

It's a battery-operated soccer mom van. How absolutely boring. It would have been awesome had VW recreated the 28-window bus or vanagon. That intrrior colour screams "hospital" or "seniors home".
