      @yvans. 5 років тому +98

      Allikandi i didn’t know that Scottie pippen had the offensive arsenal that kawhi has. When we say he remember us MJ is because of the fact that he is a an efficient 2-way player.

      @Yvans And Kawhi’s turnaround fadeaway is classic MJ.

    • @CH2716
      @CH2716 5 років тому +11

      Yvans But Kawhi doesn’t have the offensive arsenal that Jordan has, if you’re talking efficiency, it’s two different types of efficiency. MJ In 1988 averaged 35 on 53% FG percentage, meanwhile Kawhi’s career high FG percentage was 52% back in 2013, when he was scoring 13 points a game....

      Not a single one of them scored more than 20 points. This is from nba.com recapping the first quarter:
      "The Raptors looked like they had forgotten about their usual Game 1 woes with the way they got going in this one.
      They posted a near-perfect first frame, shooting 16-for-22 (72.7%) from the field and 3-for-4 (75%) from long range while committing *zero* turnovers.
      Toronto went on two separate big runs in the quarter, including a stretch where they converted 13 consecutive field goals.
      Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam stole the show combining for 34 points, outscoring the 76ers' entire team (31 points) in the first. The Raptors forwards each scored 17 points, both going 7-for-9 from the field to lead their team's red-hot start to the game."
      That is INSANE. The final score doesn't even do justice to just how dominant the Raptors were for all four quarters.

      Sean-Paul F They’d need to miss 30 shots and not make any just to equal their field goal percentage 😂😂

    I love this raptors team, everybody doing his thing, like gasol only scoring 8 points and 2 reb but being the guy with more +/- and kind of stoping the great embid making him go 5/18. I would love to see them get those rings this year, it would be very good for basketball

      And great for Canadian sport in particular. It's no secret we always have a harder time trying to attract big name players north of the US border, and to finally have superstars that can push this franchise to new heights can mean big things for other struggling teams that lose their best players to American schools and professional leagues. This could mean the beginning of an entirely new, passionate demographic of basketball fans, something that should make NBA officials very excited to see.

    I can't believe people are knocking KLow7 on his performance during these playoff. Makes me wonder if they have actually watched the Raptors play. In past seasons KLow7 "needed" to score because he was the second scoring option behind DRoz. The intangibles that he had were not appreciated if he wasn't giving you 20ppg. This years team is wayyyy different. We don't need him to score because there are other options. His intangibles are what we need. Raptors as a whole are in playoff mode. Kawhi......The Claw......Cape Town (as he calls himself, look it up if you don't already know)....is.in beast mode. The Raptors are locked in. This is what it looks like when you play as a team and look for ways to win.......not to pad stats!
    I was thoroughly impressed by what I saw. Yes it's game 1 but if the Raptors continue to play like they have over the last 5 games during these playoffs, the 76ers don't have a chance! Sorry to bring this up but really..... how could Kawhi leave this? Anyway, on to game 2. Let's see if the Raps keep this up! #WeTheNorth #NorthSide #NorthOverEverything #The6Six #RaptorsBasketball

      No one is knocking KLow for his entire performance just game 1. He needs to score as well as everything that he does because this dominance won't always be there and no All-Star guard should be scoring 0 points in the playoffs. Since Kyle has turned it up and started scoring the Raptors have won 5 straight

      @whitemamba-ct7xc 5 років тому +8

      @@kharis87 i would compare them more to a team like the pacers or a healthy nets. Equally talented (pacers might have a bit more), equally well coached.
      Teams play 32 out of conference games a year. Also consider the clippers played in a division that outside the warriors, is one of the weakest in basketball.
      Thats 12 games against the always injured lakers (their starters were only healthy for 17 games), the young Kings who have shown improvement but arent a good team, and the laughing stock suns.
      so in total they played 44 games against the east or joke western teams. I wouldnt put my money on them being a top 5 seed in the east.

    Great game by Leonard and the raptors but the thing is the raptors shot 72 percent in the first quarter and were only ahead by 7 points. Same for the whole game they shot 52 percent and if not for the last few shots which they chucked up to close out the game which reduced the overall percentage they shot like 46 percent from three in the first three quarters. Do you honestly think that's going to continue? I'm not discrediting the raptors here but the series is in no way over here. If the sixers lost by only 13 points after such a clinical shooting performance they should be quite optimistic if they execute better offensively I feel. But man Leonard was amazing. Turning more and more to be an absolute killer
