Some of y’all either don’t have a dream or too scared to follow it and it SHOWS. First of all youtube is NOT my dream nor long term goal, acting is. &if you’re hung up on me turning down an Ivy League, news flash, i interned at Columbia University last year, and I have 5 years of experience. Just like acting isn’t going anywhere, neither is Harvard. True faith is believing that there will be more than just ONE chance with anything. Stop being scared for ME, I’m good! I’m doing what makes me HAPPY. It’s my career and my decision. I’ll be successful regardless. Thankyou for your concern and love.

Yoooo this is a wayyy too real. I didn’t even realize my childhood was traumatic or not normal until I got to college. Then I realized it wasn’t normal for us not to have water or lights sometimes. My grind is sooo much different than everybody around me & I realized my upbringing has everything to do with it. I recently started my channel because I needed a space to be myself. Now I’m battling between finding a career in the arts & “practical stuff”. As a finance major with a minor in studio art people are always surprised that I have dual interests. This video is right on time. I’m rooting for you❤️❤️ thank you so much for this inspo!!!!! Talk yo shit boo it’s motivation to the real ones
CHILDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I swear so true! I'm about to start mine I feel like this platform is good to be yourself and meet wonderful people who also share the same interest

This dude would've been the *FINEST* doctor to exist. Edit: Dang I'm ignorant, Harvard isn't the only medical school in the world. Lust aside, I feel you on not being tied to one occupation your whole life. We're explorers; we weren't put here to sit in one place and be complacent, just wondering what could've been. Come into yourself and feel fulfilled, man. There's no better feeling than knowing that you've done all that you could to stay true to yourself.
New subscriber. I’m deep in your videos... this resonated with me heavily!!! I graduated from undergrad with a BS in Biomedical Sciences. I recently turned down Johns Hopkins this semester to attend another school and no one understands why! But, truthfully I want to pursue my creative side. I felt it so much when you said, “I wish I only had one goal or wanted to be one thing...” bring multifaceted and multitalented... well-rounded is a blessing and a challenge. Thank you for this video. Thank you for your voice and platform! I’m currently getting my Masters in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology...but as I said... I want to pursue my creativity.
You remind me of myself! I am here to tell you YOU CAN DO BOTH- maybe not always at the same time. It is a struggle I have had to deal with my whole life. I always thought of my self as an artist- creative who became a doctor. I was a Theater major at Cornell and pre-med at the same time. My parents and eventually myself felt I would be a good doctor. Eventually I did go to medical school and I am a practicing physician but Every chance I get to do something creative or artistic I do......including UA-cam now. Medical school or dental school as you know is REALLY Hard, make sure you want it bad enough! Your patients deserve the best of you! Keep in mind only about 5% of doctors in America are black and even less are Black men. No pressure. In the end do what feels right to you and no one says you have to go to med school or dental school right away. God bless. PS. video with you and your father was cute xoxo.
Proportional representation will give us a clearer picture of blacks in the medical field; 5% not bad at all considering they are minority. We need more blacks up there though; Tarek go for it!
YOU CAN DO BOTH! PLEASE STAY IN SCHOOL AND GRADUATE 🎓 Ken Jeong. Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong (born July 13, 1969) is an American comedian, actor and physician. He is best known for playing Ben Chang on the sitcom Community and the gangster Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series.
There's gonna be plenty of ppl who gonna be mad & upset @ you for turning down Harvard, but I say screw them..It's YOUR life..Live it to the fullest degree..I commend you on all your accomplishments thus far..Do what makes YOU happy.
UA-cam is an initial stepping stone for most people. You are well known in the social media game. You are a well-rounded and educated man as well... THE SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR YOU. You can be WHAT/WHOEVER you want to be. With that being said, one stranger to another, *i am so proud of you*
This is seriously my fav video from you cus I really needed this rn. I want to be a screenwriter and producer and last semester I wrote a script. The film org on campus didn’t want to make it so I decided to say F it and do it myself. I had 1 shooting day and the camera guy who knows how to use all the equipment refuses to stay available for us to finish the short film, so I made the decision to stop filming due to it being an inconvenience for the cast and crew involved. Long story short, you’ve inspired me to make sure damn well that people see this story in some way. I already know I’m gonna do a photo shoot for my characters and tease the concept on my insta and hopefully one day I’ll grasp the attention of people who have the same drive as me. All I can do is put my stories out there and keep control of my vision. Thanks Tarek 🙏😌
Tarek has done WAY more than me and most undergrads at elite univeristies extracurricularly with research/internships even after being at Berkeley and Duke for my undergrad. I resonated with your story as I grew up poor. Do what makes you happy as you are now bearing some fruits of your labor :) You seem like a go getter. You'll be fine! People make it seem like these opportunities are all-or-nothing. Work hard and plenty of others will come - you know that :)
Initially, I was shocked when I read you turned down a Harvard internship but I get it...You have to stand in your truth and follow that dream...*sidebar* You're going to be successful at anything you try...you're just that motivated..✊🏽🙏🏽
I gave up my Nursing career to be a stay at home mom. But I always wanted to have my own business or my own thing going on. After 10 years I quit Urgent Care as the lead MA. After working on the medical field I realized Nursing wasn’t something I wanted to do for the right reasons. But here 28 still trying to figure out what is it that I’m good at and passionate about! The struggle to truly finding yourself. Especially when you don’t have talent lol.
Kay Korin everyone has a talent. Don’t short yourself. Is nursing not what you want or certain parts of nursing? There are SOOOO many opportunities in nursing. And they don’t all include bedside nursing. There is teaching as well as becoming a nursepreneur (entrepreneurship in nursing) as well as case management, administrative nursing. If nursing is your desire you CAN do it! Blessings to you!
Yessss Tarek! I’m also premed/future cardiothoracic surgeon and also plan on building my own street wear clothing line. I was told I couldn’t do both and put that creative fashion side in a box. I completely agree with you and am rooting for your success. When you’re premed or primarily have a healthcare-based career, people put you in a box and don’t see the other things you can do as well! You are AMAZING and have truly motivated me in millions of ways. I will ALWAYS support you. Be blessed🎉🎉🎉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️
Personally I think that UA-cam is a depreciating platform, I would’ve chosen otherwise but alas it’s your life. God bless you on your journey and I wish you success in life with whatever path you choose.
People use UA-cam to Branch out into other things. UA-camrs never talk about other projects that their involved on outside of their content but often times they are always doing other things for a check other than making videos. It's such a huge platform to start and grow from in the industry of entertainment/media.
Tae Djair Agreed, I never refuted that. Hence why I wrote that UA-cam is in the downswing of value in my opinion. I’ve heard that from many different UA-camrs and if the platform was to go under tomorrow only a few hundred people would have other ventures to fall back on.
@@Janae30xoxo I was just mentioning that because I assumed you commented before watching the video. He never said his choice was just based off UA-cam, nor was his choice to do UA-cam souley focused on UA-cam...it was always around what it could do for him. Lastly UA-cam isn't depreciating as you'd "think" UA-cam is growing believe it or not and won't be going under any time soon so that entire scenario isn't really "realistic" in the next few months or year/2. The whole latter half of your comment was just unnecessary and a double handed compliment you could've kept to yourself...like you said it was his choice you could've keep your personal feelings to yourself.
“you wanna be a writer but you haven’t wrote in years” STOP ATTACKING ME. but fr. i do write, but i started a project 5 years ago that i just stopped working on and even that sounds crazy to me. it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. i want to do theatre. i did it from 8 to 17. i haven’t acted or seriously sang in 3 years. the fact that life can just get in the way of things terrifies me. you start a job just to keep yourself afloat and soon that job becomes your life and you forget why you started it in the first place. i was living in new york going to school, writing with people i loved and in a matter of months i’m back home right where i started. that high and low is crazy. you really have to have passion for your dreams or you’ll get nowhere.
OMG Tarek I can relate on so many levels! Follow your dreams while you're young. If you want to be an actor go for it. Not only does risk makes you stronger but I truly believe it is apart of being successful. I think most people who are from the hood who does attend college believes that it's their ticket out. Not always true. I know tons of people including myself who have successfully completed school and is still struggling. I just graduated with my bachelors in management and I honestly feel like I was neglecting my creative side. I do believe that sometimes we lose ourselves in the midst of us growing. BE YOU BOO!! WE SUPPORT YOU BOO!! AS A WISE MAN SAID IF YOU WANT SOME DONE RIGHT DO IT YOURSELF! BABY CREATE AND BUILD THAT PLATFORM! YASSSSSSS HUNNY
Tarek- I commend you for going deep within to connect with your higher power to co-create your life’s journey. You are truly an inspiration to both young and old (I’m 61). I just took a risk to pursue Real Estate and now that I’m licensed honestly I am completely out of my comfort zone...I get that feeling of failure you experienced in the acting class. The realization this new path is not an exact science but more so a compass to show you where you need to focus your attention if acting or whatever is something you truly want to pursue. Harvard isn’t going anywhere so I support your decision to pursue your creative endeavors. Live your life!
It took me so long to fully watch this video. I kept feeling like you were talking directly to me and I wasn’t ready to hear the truth. I am at that exactly place in my life where I have 2 separate passions and I’m ignoring one because the other one is more “practical” and “safe”. You shed light on so many different points within this video and for that I truly appreciate it!
I think you’re so brave for following your dreams. So many people would crumble due to fear, but not you. You definitely can do both! I’m rooting for you!! 🧡🧡
I appreciate you beyond measures. Currently, I am in a similar position as you. I'm starting my channel soon. I have a 3.94 GPA and have had numerous internships at Harvard. But I have been wanting to do UA-cam for so long, so I'm going to start my channel and to express myself to the world. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Subscribed!!!!
You’re very brave. And i like it that in this topic we have a similar mentality ‘YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL, you just gotta work hard to deserve it’.Wish you all the best in your life and in your achievements❤️
Finish what you started and take this opportunity. You will have choices, and things to fall back on. I am not your mom but I follow your stories, and am so proud of you. You said in one of your videos you never stop what you started and you do not quit.
I'm a new subbie and I'm HOOKED!! lol last semester I changed my career/college path. Nobody expected it but it was the first thing that I've done BECAUSE I WANTED TO and I felt that it was right and it felt SO good. I'm still in school and still dont know my for sure future career is going to be... but you know what, THATS OKAY!!!!
DO THE INTERNSHIP!!!!!! Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. because medicine can be your back up plan edit: fyi I like to comment while watching & this comment was made at the beginning of watching his video! don’t @ me talking crazy over something that’s not that serious. some of y’all don’t even go this hard for your damn selves tf
medicine will be his backup plan regardless lol he said he has a pretty good resumé and he knows at least one really good med school will accept him. he could apply again for them and get it, who knows. but his dreams are his priority right now. medicine will always be there
many people i’ve met have told me chase after my dream cause if i pass it up now, later in life i will look back and wish i could’ve at least tried before it was too late!! wishing you the best
There is always the intersection of those two career paths. Look at Dr. mike who probably has the largest medical presence on UA-cam. I think you should consider combining those passions and making a career that uses both. There are tons of popularizes and advocates like Neil Degrasse Tyson who have made their way to the big screen by combining their passion for communication and their passion for what they study. I could definitely see you doing something similar one day as a doctor or dentist, if that is a path you are interested in.
Cedric Lary many doctors (the ones who make the most money usually) tend to do things outside of medicine. like Dr. Buck and plenty plenty others. I think it’s possible. i just don’t know how he’s planning on timing t since residency is HARDDD
it's so cool that you opened up about your life because are so many parts of you I didn't know. I see you as a youtuber but this video shows that every entertainer has a life beyond what we see on screen. This is dope love this xx
I cannot stress how much I’ve been searching about someone going thru this. Currently I’m on the path to going to medical school (by choice, I love medicine) but I can’t help but want to become an actress. I feel like I want to be both a doctor and an actress but I don’t know if I want to actually be an actress becuz I’ve never done any acting expect when I was in elementary school. Just stuck in this conflicting loop, and literally what you are saying, I relate to soooo much and I feel what you’re feeling. So thank you for making this video, I feel like this really inspired to take a chance and dip my toes in the acting pool forreal and know if this desire is real or just a glamoured illusion. Thank you so much❤️
damn! im in the same spot you were with acting with continuing youtube. ive wanted to for years but now its become a running gag.. but that’s beautiful, you sucked and you still wanted to continue. i guess that’s what i’ll do, not focus on how good i am but how passionate and excited it makes me. for now, im terrified, but i think i can turn that energy around, rhe fact that im so scared means i care a lot. wish me luckn💗☀️
I am a Senior in highschool and I’m at a crossroad of figuring out if my passion is in Medical or Entertainment. This video helped me a lot to follow my dreams . I shouldn’t be limited to one thing . I’ll be majoring in Bio, but will still do things on the side to feed my creative side too . THANK YOU Tarek , much love !
Needed this video, I want to be a doctor, but I also have other interest I wish to pursue and starting my youtube channel is one of them. You're living my dream. We have so much in common and this has motivated me to keep doing what makes me happy and I agree we shouldn't suppress that, if you don't try what you love then I don't think you're truly living.
This was a great message. I've always felt that no one should be limited to just do one thing if they feel they can do other things. Keep up the good work. You're inspiring.
You’ve just gained a new supporter & subscriber in me. I am truly drawn to your light & how intelligent you are. The way your mind works is AMAZING. I can see that you really know who you are & I admire that so much. DON’T LISTEN TO WHAT ANY OF THESE SMALL MINDED PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY! You see what God is doing for you boo. Trust him! & Trust yourself! I wish you ALL THE BEST! This video was inspirational honestly, truly!
I love you !!! you inspire me ! I'm currently a senior graduating with a degree in biology BUT i have a passion for the entertainment industry.. Keep being you omg you don't understand how this makes me feel !!!
Thank you for making these type of videos. It helps me a lot since I'm at this stage in my life where I'm scared and I don't know what I wanna do in life. Thank you so much keep going, your amazing.
I needed this, thank you! I graduate this May with a Bachelors degree in Business- HR Concentration with a minor in computer information systems. Although I like what I’m studying, Ive always had an interest for law enforcement. Thanks for the inspiration, failing would be to not have followed your passion and for years wondered what it would have been like if you went for it... Like you said, You have to trust that feeling you have inside. Best of luck in your journey God Bless!
Thank you for being brave enough to not let the fear of risk stop you from working on your artistic side and putting aside Harvard's internship. I absolutely agree and support your decision. I love you Tarek and will always be happy for your blessings! Your radiating confidence and goodwill spirit is contagious to everyone around you. You always inspire me to try harder, to be the best I can be and I grow wiser with your life advice.
Yasss! Congrats on the internship & all of your accomplishments! & you’re multifaceted so no matter the path, there’s a seat at the table that needs your presence! Wishing you all the best on your journey! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
This is really inspiring. I'm a freshman in college and I want to be a neurologist and an author, but I felt like I need to do either or. My passion for writing came from doing spoken word in church and my love for science came in elementary. I literally prayed to God this week about this and behold he showed me your video, lol. I hope you make it cause I KNOW you can do it and I hope I can do it too.
TAREK thank you for making this..I've been procrastinating on starting school and trying to improve on my talents/achieve my dreams solely because I'm afraid to fail. But like you said I would be so upset if I never allowed myself to TRY. I just want everything to fall in place so easily but that's not realistic and my accomplishments are only achievable on how hard I work and how badly I want it. Thank you for this and keep up the good work. I'll always be a supporter 💚
Mayim Baliak, who played Blossom, put her acting on pause to get her PhD in neuroscience before returning to acting. Ken Jeong, who played Leslie Chow in the Hangover movies, is a medical doctor. From the few videos of yours that I have seen, this is the one that made me a subscriber. You are clearly intelligent and hardworking and, with God, you will do all that you put your mind to. God bless!
So proud of you, you know your heart and you know what is best for you. Trust and have faith and give it a 100% and you will end up bless and right where God wants you
”You can't say yes to every opportunity”. Tarek you have a way with words and that's what I love about you.....Like when you say something and I have to pause the video and try to relate what you said to what's going on in my life, I just love you for being real ❤
I'm kind of going through the same thing right now except that I'm not in college & I'm not sure what I want to do with my life lol. But I'm currently a NBA dancer & I've had opportunities to travel all over the world because of dance. Unfortunately i'm falling out of love with dance..but I feel like it's because I'm worrying about my future. So needed to watch this video! but I want to try new things such as acting & exploring what else I'm capable of. I plan on going to school soon just for a back up plan but I'm learning to always keep your options open. If your heart is telling you to ACT DO IT! Life is too short. Now a days people are too scared to chase their dreams. BUT If you really WANT IT & you WORK for it you will be so successful. You gotta get out your comfort zone together to get to where you wanna be.
i just watched more of the video and i’m actually really really proud of you and your accomplishments thus far. my dream is to be a surgeon and i’m in my way to achieving that but i honestly couldn’t imagine going through this stress AND following a career in music as well so literally if YOU think you can do it then DO IT!!! we need more folk in medicine who know more than just medicine 😅
I was in a similar situation. I really wanted to do music, my mom told me you can do music on the side and pursue your medical degree. You can pursue a degree and your passion.
I love this video because I have my art side and medicine side. I want to become a physical therapist but while my body is young I still want to pursue dancing. I’ve been at a crossroads because I dont wanna give up dance when I go to college but I’m trying to find a happy medium between the two. Reading these comments it has put into perspective that lots of people have this same struggle.
Thank you for making this video, you just gave me a lot of motivation to grind harder in ways I have never done before for my goals and dreams! Your drive is amazing. Good luck with everything and stay blessed!
This hit home for me. There are so things that I’ve always wanted to do and didn’t try because it’s been “so long” , “what if I’m bad at it” buts it’s really not about any of those things. It’s about being brave enough to try discover yourself. ♥️ Congratulations on Harvard it’s an opportunity hard earned but you’ve put in enough work now to discover what makes you happy. This is the bravest and biggest journey! All the best! 🍀♥️ xo!
I agree with all of your points! Just remember everything is about TIMING. It's the one thing you can get back. Opportunities present themselves in the right TIMING.
I remember the first video I saw you talked about scholarships and how you got into Georgia state. You’ve come so far you motivate to strive for more. Ilysm❤️
This video was so necessary. Thank you. I need to have the confidence in my own work like you do. You're a true inspiration. I know I needed this, but I feel myself still being stubborn so I'm saving this video to my favorites so I can watch it again when needed.
So I finally watched the entire video. I comment before I've seen it. So imma say this. You have a tough job ahead of you yet it will be so worth it. And I hope that you are both mentally and physically ready to follow your heart.
Spoke to my soul with this vid. Literally was the most creative kid ever. Got older and cut it off because it was unrealistic now I’m obsessed with real estate, entrepreneurship, investing etc but I still can’t stop thinking about acting, since I was younger I would put on my fav shows and act out as the characters .
Yo I so love your channel...so confident so smart , don't box yourself up in one category , you made me reflect on myself and my true passions just watching this video .. I LOVEE your videos
i love this video!! i feel as young black people, we’re told by elders that we need to monopolize on every opportunity, even if the opportunity is not our biggest desire. and although our deepest desires/dreams may involve risk taking, the risks will pay off in the end because what you desire you will manifest!!
Wow! I can honestly relate with not wanting to be boxed in. I’m in nursing school, but I also really want to express my other interests, hence starting a UA-cam channel. The people around us may have the best interests for us by wanting us to solely focus on that one thing we’re going to school for, but they don’t realize our generation is full of go-getters going after EVERYTHING we really want and not limiting ourselves to just what seems like the safe route!
omg i identify with this video SO much! i got my degree & was supposed to become a nurse, but entertainment has always been my number one passion. i tried to suppress it, but i just can’t anymore. & i love how you said not reaching a certain point or certain numbers isn’t failure; not trying is the failure. a WORD honey! thank you for this ❤️
Too often, we take the "safe route" or the direction our parents want us to go in. Take the route that pleases you Tarek! You can always do both ☺ Congrats on being offered a Harvard internship smart guy 🤓 !!
Follow your passions, you are young and you have the experience. I'm a software engineer and on the side I paint. I love to paint, draw and be creative. It helps release the stress from coding. I'm working hard now so I can quit my corporate job so I can freelance and do my art full time. Congratulations to you for stepping out on your Faith!!!!
I’m a newer stubbie but the more I learn about you the doper you become! Do it all! My son just started his UA-cam channel and is a creative with a love of acting, dancing and all things entertainment. My only advice is if UA-cam shuts down tomorrow have something to fall back on. Much love! ❤️❤️❤️
I don't wanna be negative because I'm probably the ultimate pessimist and always notice the half empty goass (tho i fight to ignore it)... Anyway all I can say is, you are so brave. And watching u take these risks and truly stepping out on faith, is truly inspiring. Idk if it could've been me, but I want to be more fearless! So go you! And good luck. Honestly!
Very proud of you! I am a dentist. If you are still considering dentistry, from day one keep in mind that your end game should be figuring out what area of specialty you might want to do a residency in. Finding a residency where an MPH may be simultaneously awarded while residency will be the most beneficial.
I live for your vibes i love your beautiful personality and positivity and your faith in god u turning down Harvard was a bold but great move and i know u can do both because 👋🏽baby girl👋🏽 your Tarek Ali and I hope to see u on in I-max ♥️♥️😘
Tarek you have been an inspiration to me ever since you made the scholarship video. Your video helped and motivated me so much that I am attending college debt-free. I am also pre-med and I watch your journey and all of the great things you have done. You still continue to inspire me to work hard and keep going. Keep doing what makes you happy. You have so many opportunities and I support whatever decisions you make ! You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your happiness or dreams and i’m glad you haven’t 💘💘💘 God has a plan for us all💜 we just have to trust in him
Very impressive video. It's great to have many options, but remember you put in the work. So it's well DESERVED. I'm happy for you Tarek. Keep up the great work.
The point went over so many of y’all heads, whew chile. 🤦🏽♀️anyway..tarek, you’re doing great. Keep doing what u believe is best for you. I understood your decision 100% just by reading the title

With that being said, one stranger to another, *i am so proud of you*
y’all really need to watch the whole thing and listen to understand and not to respond. SOO inspiring 🥰
Ok. After fully listening to this I fully applaud you. Go for it. Your passion is real.
“failing is me not trying” you’re dropping so many gems in this video.
Lol I feel u when u said having no talent ... i am in a season of what i want to do ..as well
Kay Korin everyone has a talent.
Soooo proud of you! Chase your dreams.. ALL of them. Never feel subjected to just one💕
“you wanna be a writer but you haven’t wrote in years” STOP ATTACKING ME. but fr. i do write, but i started a project 5 years ago that i just stopped working on and even that sounds crazy to me. it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. i want to do theatre. i did it from 8 to 17. i haven’t acted or seriously sang in 3 years. the fact that life can just get in the way of things terrifies me. you start a job just to keep yourself afloat and soon that job becomes your life and you forget why you started it in the first place. i was living in new york going to school, writing with people i loved and in a matter of months i’m back home right where i started. that high and low is crazy. you really have to have passion for your dreams or you’ll get nowhere.
love love love this comment baby! im so rooting for you!! start on something!! for me and YOU!
I’m so proud of you Tarek, this was really big. I’m glad you stood strong in what your passionate about.
I’m in med school right now (not Harvard), and I cried a little inside 😂
Adnan A 😂😂 it’s just the internshippppp i almost cried too
Tarek- I commend you for going deep within to connect with your higher power to co-create your life’s journey.
Thanks for the motivation.
I’m taking a leap of faith of my own.
Good luck and God bless.
I truly respect this. Many people go through things like this and it’s always left unsaid. I really like this!! Thank you
I needed this video omg!!! I’m watching this in June but you gave up Harvard and received the Calvin Klein deal. You’re on the right tract Tarek
Subscribed after watching this. You’re doing amazing! No matter what path you take I know you’ll do well because it’s clear you’re a passionate person
You’re very brave. And i like it that in this topic we have a similar mentality ‘YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL, you just gotta work hard to deserve it’.Wish you all the best in your life and in your achievements❤️
i remember seeing this video 3 years ago and now today im coming back to it bcs i need reaffirmation of what im doing. this rlly resonated with me, ty
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. because medicine can be your back up plan
edit: fyi I like to comment while watching & this comment was made at the beginning of watching his video! don’t @ me talking crazy over something that’s not that serious. some of y’all don’t even go this hard for your damn selves tf
Best Tv you didn’t watch the video.
Naisha actually I did. but thanks
medicine will be his backup plan regardless lol he said he has a pretty good resumé and he knows at least one really good med school will accept him. he could apply again for them and get it, who knows. but his dreams are his priority right now. medicine will always be there
have y’all ever heard of commenting while watching? it’s okay. y’all have a good day
He's done five internships and has a 4.0 gpa... He does not need the Harvard internship he's good lol
many people i’ve met have told me chase after my dream cause if i pass it up now, later in life i will look back and wish i could’ve at least tried before it was too late!! wishing you the best
I’m excited to see what this summer brings for you! Full time UA-cam and acting is going to be amazing for you.
DOCTOR & ACTOR!! You got this 💪🏾
Sometimes bro you have to do what's best for you. Your motivated, driven, and passionate period. Everything will workout for the best.
Trust and have faith and give it a 100% and you will end up bless and right where God wants you
You seem so smart and driven no matter what you decide to do you will be successful no matter what. Keep going 💯
In this day and age, you really can do both. You are inspiring and I resonate with your story. Damn. Congratulations!!!
i just watched more of the video and i’m actually really really proud of you and your accomplishments thus far. my dream is to be a surgeon and i’m in my way to achieving that but i honestly couldn’t imagine going through this stress AND following a career in music as well so literally if YOU think you can do it then DO IT!!! we need more folk in medicine who know more than just medicine 😅
The title shocked TF out of me!!!
🍀♥️ xo!
Congratulations
Tarek
I agree with all of your points! Just remember everything is about TIMING. It's the one thing you can get back. Opportunities present themselves in the right TIMING.
Preaaaachhhhh!! This was powerful & refreshing. Thank you for sharing.
WOW. i really need to see this. thank you Tarek, and I absolutely love Logan's presence as well 💕
I remember the first video I saw you talked about scholarships and how you got into Georgia state.
I wish i was accepted to Harvard. Alot of people die to get in schools like that.
So I finally watched the entire video. I comment before I've seen it. So imma say this. You have a tough job ahead of you yet it will be so worth it. And I hope that you are both mentally and physically ready to follow your heart.
I wish u much success in all your endeavors!!!! Your star shines so bright!!! Whatever you do, you will soar...trust!!!
I haven’t said this to many people but you truly inspire me people like you is what UA-cam is made for appreciate u!!
YASSS come thru so true
& i love how you said not reaching a certain point or certain numbers isn’t failure; not trying is the failure. a WORD honey! thank you for this ❤️
Thank you for posting this I’m feeling so inspired by listening to your story. I realize I have a lot of work to do but it’s ok.
Too often, we take the "safe route" or the direction our parents want us to go in. Take the route that pleases you Tarek! You can always do both ☺
Congrats on being offered a Harvard internship smart guy 🤓 !!
You are absolutely inspiring and amazing! I think God for people like you, who I may never meet, but you inspire me more than anyone I know.
Another great video. You truly can't go wrong if you just continue to allow your passions to guide you.
I live for your vibes i love your beautiful personality and positivity and your faith in god u turning down Harvard was a bold but great move and i know u can do both because
👋🏽baby girl👋🏽 your Tarek Ali and I hope to see u on in I-max ♥️♥️😘
Tarek you have been an inspiration to me ever since you made the scholarship video. Your video helped and motivated me so much that I am attending college debt-free. I am also pre-med and I watch your journey and all of the great things you have done. You still continue to inspire me to work hard and keep going. Keep doing what makes you happy. You have so many opportunities and I support whatever decisions you make ! You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your happiness or dreams and i’m glad you haven’t 💘💘💘 God has a plan for us all💜 we just have to trust in him
TAREK, HUNNY YOU TUBE CAN STOP ANY TIME BABY. YOU ARE YOUNG. THESE WILL HUNT YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. BELIEVE AN OLD LADY.
this gave me so much motivation.. thank you Tarek, you a good one
YOU CAN BE A MEDICAL CONTRIBUTOR ON TV SHOWS AND GUESS STAR ON TV AND MOVIES. YOU CAN DO IT ALL
Very impressive video.
