I haven't been to Loveland since early 2018 but will probably be going back this year! I'm excited to see the first high speed lift and loop it all day.
I’m on the ski team in Loveland, and if you go down the slope right in front of the sign, called spillway, you will come down to nix nox. Go down a bit and you’ll come to a black diamond called cats meow. That’s the one to the right of Chet’s. If you know how to ski it, it’s really fun. Warning though, it’s full of moguls, and a bit steep.
Newbie question....I have never done catwalk before and am wanting to try it. Studying this video religiously to get it memorized. At 5:04, there is a fork. The trail to the skiiers' right looks like a blue run, yet the one on the left looks green. As far as I can tell, looks like the sign is pointing right to continue on the green ( mambo to catwalk ), but damn, that looks too steep for my comfort. I can't tell if this is simply the angle of the camera or if it really is that steep. Need some advice....which is the less steep of the two? Also, I will be using Panzer 450 90cm ski blades. Chose these to practice carving. Do blades slow you down even on steep hills? Again... dumb newbie question...
There is only 1 green (easy) run when u come off of Chet's dream. Be careful not to go down the blues or blacks especially with snowblades. Check out lift 6 to deuces wild or ptarmigan to fire bowl to turtle creek.
this looks so fun but i was wondering how steep is the chairlift drop off i suck at going off of them (snowboard) and just wanted to know i always wipe on steep ones ive never done this and just wanted to know
Hello I don't snowboard. I use snowblades 99.9 cm. If you are new to snowboarding don't try this lift. Go down lift 7 until you get used to the terrain.
Great video, and I ❤️ ❤️land, but bar down isn’t a bad thing. I know it’s culture, but it shouldn’t be. Here’s 1 reason why www.summitdaily.com/news/keystone-lift-accident-was-25-years-ago-this-week/
We skied Loveland a lot in the 60’s. There were only two chairs, one and two. We skied off that chair quite a bit. Brings back good memories.
Awesome to watch this when you can’t be there and you get that same feeling even in Florida in the summer. ⛷

Or you can just turn left at the top and be on the steeps right away.
At 6:25 you can hang a left into the trees and there is a fun little rock drop

Go to skiloveland.com and take a look at the trail map

Loveland has a lot of steep terrain. Check out lift 3 to zig zag or boomerang. Those aren't 2 bad.
milehighbeachbum I’ve already done that...
@@vancepleasant9525 gotcha! I also use blades no matter what u will have fun. Let me know if u have any other questions thx
Is this the mambo trail?
Chet's dream to catwalk to mambo
milehighbeachbum, thank you! Never have done Mambo, and looking forward to being there jin December.
Yes. I’m on the ski team there, and if you go fast, it’s super fun.
Maybe steer left into and further left to avoid the meadow flat.
Nice video!
what day did you go here bc i was here like 2 ish weeks ago
this looks so fun but i was wondering how steep is the chairlift drop off i suck at going off of them (snowboard) and just wanted to know i always wipe on steep ones ive never done this and just wanted to know

@@dylansmith6168 not bad if you have experience don't worry
nice video , like like,, I could not get off the ground !!!!👎
Thanks I appreciate that!
You should put the restraint down next time. Don't take UA-cam over your personal safety.
It's not a UA-cam thing that he didn't put it down. No one uses the bars out West unless you have little kids. Just a culture thing.
Bruh no one does that
U should have a solid foundation in skiing before you get on this lift.
