- Was looking at getting a 75" TV for a bit and decided to check out the deals for Black Friday - was a bit afraid to go for a cheaper brand so I went with this LG. It looked great in the store amongst all the other choices and when I got it home, it looked great here too luckily.

I'm pretty sure any tv has screw mount for the wall, especially if buying new. Did you end up buying it?

At 15:05 I see those vertical backlight lines. My LG tv does the same, I wished i would've got the samsung one. Those lines are annoying when white and blue images are shown on tv

All I wanted was to know how to set up the built in Alexa. I tried and could not figure it out, especially with the remote that came with the TV so I ordered the magic remote because it has the Alexa button and I am still having trouble. The only reason I bought TV was because it said it had a built-in Alexa feel like I’m getting ripped off and I bought it from Walmart.
i just picked one up from walmart it was the last one $387 bucks its a great tv so far has so many features

@@ilynpayne7491 Walmart does it everytime they close them out and get the new models they had Samsung 55” for 200 bucks they actually had 75” cheaper than what I paid but I wanted a lg it was a little higher priced

Hi Ians.. Do you know Why is the Netflix app renderimg its menu UI on the LG 70UQ90 Smart TV in low-res (but the videos are 4K)? Are you experiencing the same thing with your 75?

How's the trumotion?
Great TV but the remotes sucks on these late models. The Remote control buttons have a gray outline rather full colored making it difficult to see in low light conditions.
Does this tv have the picture on picture mode
Just grabbed one. Looks really good. Hopefully the newer magic remote can work with this as that will be what I'll order. You are right when it comes to the slow UI. Using a Firestick 4k Max with it do deal with that.
Did you find out if it works with it? I'm getting conflicting information from the website and from other people who actually have it.

I got this TV but my remote dosent work like that. Its like a nintendo wii remote and works great. I like being able to use my phone as a remote too

Do you see verticle banding when there is a completely grey or white color on the TV?
I do notice a little bit but it’s not awful.

This is a damn good tv and far exceeded my expectations the picture and 4K is amazing for the price and gaming looks bad ass on it also I have a 65 inch I had mounted on my wall I’m not a nerd on all the lil specs and bullshit but I do know this a fantastic TV by LG
Mine didn’t come with magic remote tho you have to order it for voice control and Alexa etc. it’s not much tho
What settings are u using because my ps5 looks like crap on here
The picture quality looks really great but LG’s Smart software is truly the worst and I think that’s a deal breaker for me. I wish they would collab with Android TV or Google Tv cause it would make it the perfect TV.
Can you add your own home pictures to the tv if so how ???

I got mines 2 days ago and now is not letting me turn on with any remotes! I went back to Walmart and got new remote still no luck 😢😫😫

I have 2 of these, got em for free when the appliance store went out of business next to my job. They didnt think they worked
I used the remote app on my phone to set the tvs up them order 2 remotes off amazon for $12 apiece

Will the TV remote control the volume of the optical out?
I have my soundbar hooked up using the HDMI ARC - which does let me control it. I don't have an optical cable to test that unfortunately.
@@IansTech Right on. Thanks for the reply. I went and ordered the TV. We'll see if it works. My last LG had a fixed level on the optical out, so I'm not optimistic this one will be any different. Might be a good excuse to upgrade the old sound bar and sub.
@@musicmasonWhen using optical out audio, try switching from Auto to PCM or any other option in that menu to see if you can get volume control. Very finicky this is tho.
Does this TV have Chromecast? I can't cast anything to it.
It does, I was able to cast to mine from my iPhone

I paid 450+50 protection today at Walmart. Black Friday is a hoax.
My guy it’s 2023 so newer models get made, and retail stores such as Walmart lower the price from its original price. Than if it’s on sale of course it’s going to be less even from the Black Friday sales.

The WebOs suck, no wonder this OS & Tizen from Samsung are unpopular. Roku & Google are the best .
Terribly lacks brightness in dark/night scenes in movies and series especially in SD & FHD format (CSI, Law and order, etc.). I use a satellite receiver and my 8 years old samsung TV (non smart) deos a better job when it comes to picture quality. Overall the graphic quality and the longevity of all budget & entry level TV's was dropped, even by Samsung and LG. Shame on them...
They really want folks to go for the QLED, Mini LED and OLED models.
@@IansTech I fully agree, and even the last years' samsung 4K budget models have this terrible "black crush" and dimming issues which I don't have at all on my old samsung K5100 non smart TV of 2016 ! Things become worse and worse and HDR, Dolby and so on means nothing for me on the crap budget TV's of the big players. Shame on them....
