- So, I have been wanting to do some original music recently. I'm also playing the Half-Life games again. The Half-Life series are some of my favorite games and I really wanted to make something that captured that Half-Life Sound. You guys will have to let me know what you think.

I think half life's story was only glimpsed into in the games. This feels like the universe is finally sealing those cracks and filling in the final touch to create the universe. Super well crafted
It feels like it could easily be a huge universe if the investment was put in. I would personally love to see more of the glowies from OPFOR, maybe even as good guys post 7 Hour War?

This could work well as an HL2 fight track! If you ever decide to do a follow-up Half-Life track, take a look at Black Mesa, they got some good stuff there!

It's really good, but I dunno if it's Half-Life. There's more Giorgio Moroder in alot of the 1 and 2 OST. This is really clean and cybernetic, not a ton of pulse and bass. Sounds closer to Halo's Eno-inspired ambient with some pop house thrown in.
For this track I wanted to go for a slightly different sound. I wanted more melody involved. I also wanted to make a lot of crazy sounding synths in the mix. I know most of the time they went more rock/techno for the tracks in the HL games, but I wanted to see if I could fit a different style into it.
@@cjmus1c I feel like the low-end pulse is what gives alot of identity to the Half-Life music, but I see what you're saying. It's just an opinion of mine. Good job, either way.

This soundtrack is prety well, but... well, i don't really think it would by ok to put it in Half Life. Maby as one of the levels OST, but not at the main sceen, that's sure.
