I've got anta kt8 for myself because it was for sale for 110$ and I love it. The only shoe that I was considering other then kt8 was WOW10 but it was much more expensive. Attention to details, materials, best fit for me, thick forgiving midsole and new beautiful colorways is what I love about kt8. If they were 50 grams less heavy they would be perfect.
I now own 2 pairs of Lebron 20. Best shoes I’ve ever worn.

At 6,4 200 lbs, not the best knees and a hip surgery… I find myself using the Nike GT jump 2 over my wow 10. They feel more protective which is my main focus in a shoe now a days. Would love your thoughts on Lebron 20 vs GT jump 2 for us older weekend warriors? Thanks doc!

Heel-to-toe transition is something I’ve put a premium on in my basketball shoes this year that I haven’t in the past all of these are very fluid, the WOW 10s in particular with its runner style rocker shaped tooling combined with that bouncy elastic foam, full carbon fiber & traction that literally sticks to the floor, they are probably in my top 3 funnest shoes to play in along with the GT jumps & Lebron 18s.
The kt 8 was number 2, harden vol 7, number 1

I just stepped on the court for the first time since my acl surgery in the harden vol 7. There’s a reason why it’s #1 on the list. Especially for wide footers. Do yourself a favor. I returned the Lebron 20s to get them. 100% don’t regret my decision
Harden shoes are very versatile. Until now I’m still wearing my volume 3 even though it seems worn out. The traction is insane, the cushion is amazing, i never got ankle on this shoes, and its very low to the ground so the court feel is so good. It makes me hard to decide which shoes i need to buy to replace volume 3 cuz surely i cannot wear this for any longer.
@@noahdillard7431 it fits true to your size. You can wear double socks if you don’t feel fit.

Hey Zach, some other reviews of the fission list that the traction is not very good. What was your experience with that.
Hey Zach can you add in future reviews if needed a bigger size to wear w braces? I think that a lot of people wants to know this information about a shoe. Also maybe add an ankle stability test where u slightly roll your ankle to see if the shoe protects the ankles well. Thanks!!

Fantastic List! I concur with almost all of them especially the Harden 7s being on top. The only glaring omission imo is the New Balance two wxy v3. I know that you didn't make a video on those, but I feel like the midsole teardown and upper analysis would've been very interesting.
I may unless they go to v4 super quick like they did with the 2-3

Do you think the puma mb.01 is good for outdoor use because I have the luka 1 and they have great traction but I keep have soreness in the middle of my arch because the foam is already dead and I was wondering if the mb.01 is a good take.

@@wadewilson3296 For me, since I have a 4E-5E and also have a wide midfoot, I bought them on store and went up 1 and half my true size by lenght. After playing with it for about 2 months, I can say I could've got a way with just 1 size up. If you dont have a wide midfoot you could go with half a size up as a 4E (2E can go true to size). But if you do have a wide midfoot, 1 size up would be good once you've broken it in.
Both good - depends if you want the more maximalist powerstep or the more sleek Moves

In terms of comfort doc does the kt8 compare or even on par with kd14? I love the kd14 and wanted a similar feeling shoe
They are both comfortable but the kd14 is much much much more plush

I know that the price point for the WoW all city 11 wouldn’t make sense to be used on an outdoor court but disregarding that what are your thoughts on them being used exclusively for outdoors.
Yeah I mean they’re great on outdoor courts - I think their durability is pretty decent for outdoor too

Surprised 37 low didn't make it on this list. lightest most breathable shoe I've own. Switched to them from the pumas since they were too restricting on my toes.

Rarely hear an American call football American football 😂 I guess because you’d call soccer futbol?? lol. Anyways, I’m enjoying my blaze court TRC. But it’s bottoming out after only 4 months of use. I only play twice a week so it is quite quick to wear down in my opinion. Do you think the Puma Riae Nitro is a better substitute? any other suggestions from your top 5 for a more bouncier ride like my Puma 😊 As always thanks for the reviews, they have been very helpful. I’ve been doing a DEEP dive into my next pair of shoes. I think I need your help. My second toe is longer than my big toe and the nail always breaks. I’m 6’4 old school post player. Are my shoes too big and my feet are sliding around in them when I come down from my jump resulting in my broken toe nails or is it something else? Are recommendations. I’ve been looking at WOW 10 or son of flash a good bit.
I usually just get silicone toe caps for that

I like the look of Lebron 20s. My favorite looking Lebron shoe ever and the only one that I have ever bought . But if you are a Kobe shoes buff like I'm, you know that these shoes are a copy of those Kobe A.D. that came out. Lebron 20s are super ridged and feel way too heavy for my taste. Kobe A.D's were one of the few Kobe Nike shoes that I didn't like.
Hopefully, Lebron's will feel better after they are really broken in.

@FootDoctorZach sorry for misunderstanding, adidas crazy byw select. They are not the same as adizero select. They are pretty interesting in the midsole where boost is caged within lightstrike. I don't think there are the same combinations as that out there

These shoes work with the Peloton bike+ (April 2022), ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxGPkov2mNjgZfG33r6Bwvies8jKE4AKZB and are of good enough quality. I have completed 10 rides so far and there are no issues. The first time trying to fit them on the Peloton bike took 10 minutes (even with the help of an experienced cyclist friend who wears the same type of cleats). It took a couple of rides to break in. After the first two rides there were no issues at all.
If aesthetics were also a factor then WOW10 and LBJ20 are my only picks on this list.

Wow, title should be top 5 ugliest shoes!! As a 40 yr old dad been out of the shoe game for over 10yrs now. Came to get a good idea what's the best shoes to hoop in. I guess these are the shoes designed by the same players that dress ridiculous in the dressers 😆
