North Korea will Reopen to International Tourism This Winter

North Korea plans to reopen limited international tourism by the end of 2024 , following a five-year closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Two tour companies, Koryo Tours and KTG Tours, announced that tour groups will be allowed to visit the mountainous city of Samjiyon, the birthplace of Kim Jong Il.
