I remember back in 1978, my bf at the time and all his friends were huge Jeff Beck fans. It's nice to see this legend from my teenage years and Johnny performing together.

Jeff Beck is a sweet man.......Johnny is very lucky.Good friends are hard to find but when you do it's rock solid.
I feel like I am right there, that is how incredibly good the sound is.
So glad someone got this great last finale encore… I’ve not heard this from other concerts … but was there on Saturday… amazing together… Beck is just amazing and Johnny was perfectly Johnny and massive contribution to the night …. Thank you to everyone involved and for your post 🙏🙏🙏🙏

He could of gone off somewhere in midfle no way, for holiday but drcided to e to Uk and play with his mates, l love it, talking to my husband about him and he had never heard of johnny depp but he knows of jeff beck, my husband doesnt watch any films of anyone, but did say he thought his guitar playing was good, wish l had been there.

Saw Jeff Beck with Buddy Guy in Jackson, California and he's quite the guitarist. To play with him, Depp has to be pretty damn good. GO JOHNNY GO!!

Respect....Jeff Beck is respected around the world by music fans and musicians a legend.....
It's not 'their cover'! Jeff recorded this cover and it's 100% his arrangement. Let's be clear, he is just letting JD busk along on guitar (very quietly), like the other tunes JD appeared for, as a favour to a mate. There's nowt wrong with that of course. It's just that a lot of comments here (almost all from JD lady fans it would seem...) indicate they are under the allusion that JD is somehow contributing a large part to the performance, (one comment even states that!). Well, he isn't. Jeff is an astounding guitarist, and has been since the 60s, he's also kind and these appearances must have been a welcome relief for JD after some pretty tough weeks.
tbf, whilst the set does contain songs like this one (which, as you rightly point out, is Jeff's cover), the "other tunes JD appeared for" include one that was written by JD ("Hedy Lamarr") and others that JB and JD specifically covered together for their new album (i.e. "Isolation"), which will be released in July :)

Jeff has repeatedly said it will be released in July (no official announcement yet, but I'd speculate it will be coming very soon - I'd suggest keeping an eye on Johnny and Jeff's Instagram pages) :)

Absolutely not!!!.....but if you look back at previous JB videos pre Johnny Depp, there are comments by genuine female Beck fans, but not like now, where most of the comments ARE women.....very few of them even giving Beck a mention......don't be so bloody touchy Kath.

I would have been miffed if I had bought a ticket for a show on this tour, then had to wait 2 yrs for it to take place only to be saddled with having to listen to Johnny 'Bloody' Depp for 40 minutes .....all my die hard Beck friends who went his show agreed that Depp was.....err......less than brilliant, to put it politely.
Would love to see robert plant on that stage with Jeff and johnny. Robert could do it with jimmy page or Jeff beck like the honeydrippers. I actually do know who the yard birds are and Eric Clapton. I totally enjoy listening to music. It calms me . I appreciate ever string they've touched and notes they've sang.

A stage full of talented musicians and one ego driven poser wanna' be. Johnny Depp is no musician and making sure the volume on his amp is turned way down is his best contribution. I'm glad the jury ruled in his favor but basking in someone elses glory won't heal the trama of finding poop in your bed.

Plus, that's called being a "true friend" -- giving Johnny this opportunity, because everybody knows music is very therapeutic and healing -- which is exactly what Johnny needs right now. You don't have many friends, do you? I can tell. You have to BE a friend, in order to HAVE a friend. And obviously, that's . . . . . not . . . . . you.

it's purely because of the angles - couldn't get a clear shot of Jeff, it was all the back of someone's head (you can see on uploads from previous days that I always try to get them both in shot) - Jeff's hands down the greatest living guitarist as far as I'm concerned and my admiration for him is absolutely immense.
