Instead of "The Kids Are All Right," there could be a song, "The Train is OK." I like that Travelling Wilburys sleeve, and the "Harden My Heart" picture. I've never heard that Jan + Dean song before, so I'll look it up and give it a listen. It looks like Heart spent a lot of time with hairdressers in preparation for those 80s photo shoots. OK, I went and listened to "Jeanette Get Your Hair Done." Yeah, that's an odd, surprise ending.
hi joe, some great 45s there! i have some of these also. the picture sleeves are always nice to find. i have that jan and dean ''baby talk'', the flip side is fun, especially with that ending that you mentioned! thanks for sharing, take care, rob
Really cool finds. The McCartney and Wings picture sleeve and the Diamonds Mercury red label were my favorites. Regarding that record label you were asking about, though it's sort of hard to see, there's an acute accent on Doré, which is pronounced doh-RAY and means "golden" (though I usually see "golden" written as d'or).
I like classic comedy albums, stuff like Allan Sherman, Stan Freberg, Tom Lehrer, Reiner/Brooks, Bob Newhart, Spike Jones, Firesign Theater, etc. That Dreamboat Annie 45 on Mushroom looks to be the unique mix of the song that tacks the Crazy For You guitar intro to the beginning.
Didn't we all have a Mickey Mouse record player? I listened to that Jeanette song on YT... most shocking! Too much reverb on their voices! Sometimes the picture sleeve is better than the record inside. I enjoy the sound of the trains.

Nice pickups. I personally hate when the price stickers are put on the picture sleeves

Speaking of 45's, was that copy of Beatles Please Please Me Vee Jay 498 with the 2 T's ever sold?
Yes, for 650 I think.
@@MeanMrMayo Cool, so they came down a bit from the $750. Thanks.
