I look at it this way. Rob has a more precision approach to his flying where Skip is more of an in your face extreme style. I personally appreciate the amount of work and training involved in both styles but I prefer the precision style of flying more.
@@FlyguyXII I can see that...still doesn't make it any easier for me. If they told me I had to chose I think it would be a tie. They are both so damn great!
@@omegawolf81 I'd say Sean D. Tucker is more impressive. He used to almost match Rob's maneuvers with his - albeit highly modified - but still a Pitts nonetheless. And this monster here is basically an oversized aerobatic RC plane with mind-boggling amounts of power, so no wonder it can perform simply stunning maneuvers at the hands of a professional like Rob.
Rob Holland. No comparison. Though I really like Skips plane and most of his unique airshow antics. Rob takes everything to another level with an exceptional amount of thought, imagination and and real solid engineering. And Holland competes regularly at the world level, against the best pilots in existence, and wins often. Skip does not. So It really is not a comparison.
@@getsideways7257 technically Sean D. Tucker had more power. Often cited as 400hp. They use the same Lycoming engine series, Sean the IO-540 by Barrett, and Rob is a -580 also modified to around 380hp if memory serves. I watched Sean D. Tucker fly the Challenger III backwards in a hover in Arlington in 2006. His prop hang time was over 30 seconds. The wind drifted him backward down the runway several hundred feet. Keep in mind Oracles budget. And that was when the Challenger III was all new.
I recorded Rob's performance at the Crossroads airshow back in October. As amazing as his performance is I don't think people realize just how insanely good your camera tracking skills are.
Mr. Holland is such an AMAZING PILOT & SHOWMAN that if I had the capability of being jealous of ANYONE & THEIR ABILITIES, hands down it'd be him. Awesome job as always brother. 🙏👍👊
Rob is an incredible pilot. This aircraft accelerates from one maneuver to the next faster than any other aerobatic aircraft I've seen. I think it's an amazing machine. Great video here!...
Rob's new MXS aircraft is incredible with Rob flying it. He takes the MXS to its limits. He has added some incredible maneuvers to his performance. The paint scheme looks great! I hope to see him again this year. Rob is an incredible person, always willing to talk with his fans. I have been a fan since he flew his Ultimate aircraft.(Ultimate Airshows). Take care Rob, Be safe.
I think it just has the large motor sold by MX aircraft. Shawn Tucker is also one of the best. Utube has both of them. Rob Holland has his own website. (Ultimate airshows). I think he posts aircraft statistics. He does shares in cockpit videos. Take care, Be safe.
That's just a lot of engine power and a good enough feel for balance. I'm much more impressed with 8:30 ... Then again, that thing almost has the power to weight ratio of an RC aerobatic plane...
Je cherche les mots mais ce pilote est juste exceptionnel et touche à des figures audacieuses , un pilotage au scalpel, une précision incroyable. BRAVO
That was amazing! I just can't wait to get my private pilot license. I want to fly planes like that... I came across a similar video on james asquith's channel.
Well he is certainly a master of his craft. Don't forget Shaun Tucker also a great pilot. What I'm torn over is the plane I really like the Pitts but these single wing planes are fantastic.
I want to go see This amazing guy who puts his MX in maneuvers that I’ve never seen before and he’s has to stay why ahead and knowing his ever spot on the Ground and his Aircraft at all times,,,,
Commentator needs to calm down l, somebody loan him a full stop lol, great flying, some of those loop recovery`s were a little bit too low mind you. all good, crack on.

Simply incredible aerobatic performance...best I've ever seen!
I am torn...I simply don't know who I like more. Rob Holland or Skip Stewart. They are both at the top of their game and beyond amazing pilots.

Awesome plane. Phenomenal pilot. Clean, no-nonsense flying. Looks like great fun!
Can anyone tell his plane brand & model name?

WOW is a definite understatement of what I just saw.
Best I’ve ever watched! Not to mention it was in my backyard

Is it some kinda modified version instead of stock version?

A legjobb műrepülőbemutató amit valaha láttam!
Cannot imagine a BETTER PILOT on planet earth !!! W O W !!!!
Wow just wow! How the hell did he... (10:12) This pilot is freakin' amazing

Just WoW. Thanks so much for posting.
The guy is amazing!
the G.O.A.T. of aerobatics!
Drink every time the announcer says Rob Holland lol. If this man is performing anywhere near you make the trip you won’t be disappointed
Holland is superhuman. So many pushes, insane stalls. He seems to transcend aerodynamics.
Also, that is a superplane...
Saw you today at the Westfield air show YOU WERE AWESOME 👏
Absolutely amazing, what a display 👏 thanks for sharing 👍
Thats some awesome flying
That is some off the charts insane flying. 😱😳
This guy is in a league of own.
Again, after seeing Skip Stewart, now Rod, I'm once again, AT A LOSE FOR WORDS......🎖🏆🏅🥇🥈🎗🥉👍🏿
This guy is insane! Best I’ve even seen! How do you top this?!
Airshow Stuff,,, Wow,,,, You Are Good... This Guy Us Good, and The Smoke System is Spectacular,,,

Unbelievable!
this so cool
Dude can flat FLY !
Anybody know where the breaker box is? Or maybe just a tube sock and some duct tape?
Now THAT'S how you fly!
Well he is certainly a master of his craft. Don't forget Shaun Tucker also a great pilot. What I'm torn over is the plane I really like the Pitts but these single wing planes are fantastic.
And he's the most easy going patient dude you will ever meet.
I'm going to practice that frisbee stunt with my RC plane...
that was like the flight path kids do with their toy planes
Good flight Jase Dussia !
Awesome acrobatic show. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I want to go see This amazing guy who puts his MX in maneuvers that I’ve never seen before and he’s has to stay why ahead and knowing his ever spot on the Ground and his Aircraft at all times,,,,
Can I ask what camera setup you use to capture your ground to air footage ?
Of course, we use AX-53 camcorders
I like aerobatic very much.
This dude is the shiz nitz💪👍
Бесподобно!!! 👍👍👍💪
What is the airplane word when it flips tail over nose I called it tamedog
I miss the Air Race competition.
Can anyone tell his plane brand & model name?
It's an MXS-RH from MX Aircraft
@@AirshowStuffVideos Modified/Custom version only for him!

Seems like it would be better without all the smoke so you could actually see what's going on.
Nice landing 🤣🤣🤣
Commentator needs to calm down l, somebody loan him a full stop lol, great flying, some of those loop recovery`s were a little bit too low mind you. all good, crack on.
"only Sukhoi fighters can perform maneuvers such as the cobra" ..... Rob and his MXS....Oh that's cute....
Can anyone tell his plane brand & model name?
Too much talking, I just want to see and hear the plane
Looks like me with my rc planes hats off to this pilot
