I think a lot of these tests make it harder for people who are taller. Sit and reach (long legs) and pull ups/push ups (taller person, more bone mass, more weight) just to name a few. I'm a shorter person so I have a lot less body weight and I can do like 17 pull ups and 50 push ups. The taller people in the class can only do like 20 push ups but are very obviously more athletic. Just my two cents.

I ran the mile and now I'm a varsity track / field runner and varsity cross country runner and I can run my mile just around 5 mins give or take a few seconds
Lol yes!!! I used to think that my gym teacher just made us do it for fun. I absolutely hated it. My personal best was so awful! I think the last time I did it my score was 15 or something.
Lol, my best friend could do 34 pull-ups when she was 10. The whole class counted and then my teacher challenged her and the teacher only ended up getting 5 XD
I am deaf and did pull-ups on 24-27 times when I was 18 went to high school and took PE class. my woman coach and all the girls were surprised at me did that. she said to me, "oh my god! you got recorded than other girls." but *they are jealous of me was like OOF.* that's why I love sports and gym class.
Destiny Ellison I can read her lips but mostly, my interpreter have worked for me at high school. As not much, I speak to anyone else because I had anxiety also I used to interpreter to deaf students asked me for their teachers either. so my speech teacher do teach me learn to every words but I *can* hear everything when I wearing cochlear, two things: being deaf and do speech will try to best myself. When Link says "don't pop a blood vessel", I just think that if I were in Rhett's position I would burst out laughing. I also couldn't hold it in when Rhett said "Please don't slip one out". I guess I just laugh at really gross sounding things ^^
7 months later and I've come across this video again and find I'm amazed at how beautiful Link's shoulders and arms are. It's been longer than 6 months so, I guess its love. ♥
I took the practice pacer test a few weeks ago. I only did 21 laps. My friend did 108. WE ARE BOTH IN 5th GRADE!! The funny part was she forgot it was only the practice test. XD
I have to do the pacer test every year since 2nd grade I can do 52 and that's the highest of the 5th grade (I'm in 6th now haven't done the pacer test this year yet) it's pretty sad and that's higher than the boys too lol.
Show me a 6 year old that can do three pullups, that one is total bullshit. 6 year olds aren't old enough to walk around without running into something let alone do a pull up
Actually, in kindergarten they made us do one or two pull-ups and it was the most degrading thing ever. I couldn't do one and it was super embarrassing. No one else could but every kid'll laugh at anyone because they're kids. That pull-up concept is bullshit though.
Michael Brown yeah what is weird is I couldn't do one in sixth grade and now I can do like 10, there was a kid in sixth grade that did like 20 and everyone was like :o
Last year, worst PE year ever! First time in my grade (I was in 4th) that we had to do a physical thing You had to run across the gym back and forth when you heard the ding, you get 3 strikes, and if you miss 3 dings, you're out. I was SO sore after that.
ImaginitiveAJ OMG that was the worst. And you also have to do that in middle school. I'm in 7th so I know. But you only have P.E. in 6th grade and in 8th.
I was a gymnast while I was in elementary/middle school. I loved when the fitness testing time came around because I smashed the charts. In high school I did the most pull-ups out of all the boys and girls with 32. I was extremely quiet and shy, but I finally got to show my talents and impress people then. Oh the good days, now I can do about 4.
I'm a dancer so while the pull ups and that stuff I can't really do, my flexibility is great. I'm just having my head touch my legs in the sit in reach
I'm in fifth grade and I'm ten for my fitness test I got 41 for sit and reach 17 for curl-ups 2 pull-ups never have done the shuttle run... 9:48 for mile run
Whenever I did the sit and reach I couldn't even touch the board.... I wasn't at all overweight, my BMI was "average" at the time, and yet I still couldn't even touch the board while people of various body types in my class could with ease. It was so embarrassing lol
I just hated how the entire point of gym class was just showing how unhealthy and below average I was. Even going as far as to make some kind of contrived chart to score me on how fat I was.
Skylynxify Reborn Why would you let it get to _"not being able to breath, gasping like a literal fish out of water, your vision blurring and darkening as you begin to lose consciousness"_ ? Why wouldn't you just slow down?

When I was in 5th grade my gym teacher made me run the mile, WITH A BROKEN FOOT! I was not very happy, and I refused to finish! XD
Damn
My aerobics teacher made me do steps with a sprained ankle and a fractured foot. Fun times😂.
I would sue the school
ADerpyPhanØfTwentyØne Panic!s I ran 2 miles...I passed out XD
I go to gymnastics we have to do 4 miles or 2 miles every day in summer but not when it's raining
Not gonna lie the mile run was pretty sad, I can remember in 8th grade I didn't feel like running so me and one of my friends walked the entire thing in 11 mins
Dikembe Mutombo same with me. i just jogged because i couldn't care less.
It's bc the square is really tight
Same thing happened to me in sixth grade but it was 15 min.
I ran the mile and now I'm a varsity track / field runner and varsity cross country runner and I can run my mile just around 5 mins give or take a few seconds
they didn't just run one mile they ran the mile two times and took the average time for one mile
Link’s face for the phone call was amazing and genuine. 😂
Dude I'm 12, in a wheelchair, and can still run an 9 min mile
you can't run...
+Randompanda19 savage
+Randompanda19 lol I can wheel a 9 min mile
+Randompanda19 that is offensive
+Randompanda19 no kidding dumbass.
Who else does the pacer test?!? It's the worst think ever!!!!!
Same!!! One of my friends got 108 once and I died at 50!
My personal best is 80. It was tough.
It’s not that bad
Lol yes!!! I used to think that my gym teacher just made us do it for fun. I absolutely hated it. My personal best was so awful! I think the last time I did it my score was 15 or something.
Elizabeth B. Vgi
"47! Ties-ies!" Young teen Rhett is so cute!
(my voice sounds terrible or almost cracked have changed to different tone)
And most probobaly 0 full range pullups were done that day
Guys you should re-do this! And see if you've actually become fitter
I just did dead lifts.
I felt the death in the lift.
I did too except I lifted a pound and died
+MG WARFARE L
+The salvage squad L
+Beyond L
when i did dead lifts i died
I always excelled in the sit and reach but everything else I was bad at once I became a teen lmao
As useless as Dan's belt my sit and reach is the only thing I could do it was always so much better than anyone in my class
I'm in 5th grade...
*the pacer test haunts me when I do push-ups* ▪~▪
I never did the pushups
And I can't do pull-ups... I can not even hang on for one whole second...
Just a Random Child gotta work on the forearms and biceps mate after a while it gets easier
i like how rhett has longer legs and a bad back but he still did better than link
Amy Menear But he has longer arms tho 💪
@@joshuabroadwater134 longer legs too
I'm not flexible at all, the sit and reach was soooo hard for me.
I always got 0
I get like 5
GameGuardian I get like -3
I got 37
Lol I got like 42
Casey Leingang im 11 i got 57
im a very flexible boy :3
When Link says "don't pop a blood vessel", I just think that if I were in Rhett's position I would burst out laughing.
I also couldn't hold it in when Rhett said "Please don't slip one out".
I guess I just laugh at really gross sounding things ^^
That was fun to watch, looking good, keep up the good work.
XD
Birdgirl20 I'm in fifth 2!!!!! And we do pacer too!!!
I average at 40-50 laps
I have to do the pacer test every year since 2nd grade I can do 52 and that's the highest of the 5th grade (I'm in 6th now haven't done the pacer test this year yet) it's pretty sad and that's higher than the boys too lol.
Birdgirl20 I did 47 laps and my friend wait I have no friends ……
Sophie Surette 29 we don't do that at my school but I have no friends to I guess we can be friends and we can both have 1 friend
Show me a 6 year old that can do three pullups, that one is total bullshit. 6 year olds aren't old enough to walk around without running into something let alone do a pull up
Nathan Lohman On the chart it says age 6 can do 2 pullups age 7 can do 4
6 years old is like 1st grade, my 6 year old little sister could easily do 3.
These guys only got 3 and 7. I've done over 50 easily.😂
Your president can't do any of this.
Yeah ikr
The president at the time of this video could
Yea. But Barack could!
@@haythe-u3m no lmao
@@WomeESQ Uh, yeah? You really don't think Obama could do this stuff? Wrong.
I've always hated the mile run ugh
Mashed627 Fezler me to
Same, its worse cause I have asthma and im dying in the back of the line while the guys are running 😂
Angela Zhou No. Its not fun.
Rainbow Potato I'm wierd i love long distance mums
Rainbow Potato i meant runs
Called the fitness gram.... it is the worst part of school.
True dat
+Zoe Adkins yep
+Zoe Adkins Yeah. They should encourage kids to exercise at home or something like that, not force that on them!
Victory of the Truth its funny your name has truth in it and you only speak the truth...
In sweden it's called Global Elite.
This is my favorite episode. Hands down. I laugh so hard until I start to tear up. Xd
10:38 “im draftin”😂😂had me dying, followed by rhetts laugh🤣
Last year, worst PE year ever!
First time in my grade (I was in 4th) that we had to do a physical thing
You had to run across the gym back and forth when you heard the ding, you get 3 strikes, and if you miss 3 dings, you're out. I was SO sore after that.
I was so dizzy and sore I almost fell against the bleachers XD
ImaginitiveAJ OMG that was the worst. And you also have to do that in middle school. I'm in 7th so I know. But you only have P.E. in 6th grade and in 8th.
We have P.E. every year. ;A; But we only do the run thing every other year, I think we have to do the Mile run this year ~Cri~
The thing where you run back in forth is TORTURE! Btw, it's called the paper
Pacer*
That akward moment when Rhett has better legs than you (and youre a girl) ...
+Kpop LoverXOXO I feel ya....-_-
+Kpop LoverXOXO idk...i think guys legs are gross if they don't shave, and i'm a feminist
:(
FMAiscool haha no I meant they look really toned compared to mine ;)
+Kpop LoverXOXO oh, that's true they are nice that way xD
at least your a human
"I'm thinking of going with... Selina.........hehehe..."
That mile run! 😂😂 This was perfect
I'm 2 and I ran my mile in 0.0002 light seconds.
Me to.
The Trickster *too
I ran it i 0.0001 light seconds
R u a wizud?
Fieldy Znuts yea
I'm in fifth grade and I'm ten for my fitness test I got
41 for sit and reach
17 for curl-ups
2 pull-ups
never have done the shuttle run...
9:48 for mile run
I got 8:09 for my mile time
lol 6 min for my mile
Nathan Le I am slow :P
Amaya Papaya same
Brianna Charette my results are almost the same and i am an 11 year old in fifth grade
Whenever I did the sit and reach I couldn't even touch the board.... I wasn't at all overweight, my BMI was "average" at the time, and yet I still couldn't even touch the board while people of various body types in my class could with ease. It was so embarrassing lol
I did gymnastics, ballet and cheerleading and I have never been able to touch my toes. My body just will not fold like that.
I just hated how the entire point of gym class was just showing how unhealthy and below average I was. Even going as far as to make some kind of contrived chart to score me on how fat I was.
Your not alone.
The purpose is to make you work out but you took it as a punishment
Skylynxify Reborn Why would you let it get to _"not being able to breath, gasping like a literal fish out of water, your vision blurring and darkening as you begin to lose consciousness"_ ? Why wouldn't you just slow down?
i know exactly how you feel
We do that but it's called the pacer test (I'm in 6th grade) and you get two shots
I keep thinking people are insulting GMM but then I just remember most of the audience is really clever with puns.
at the end its Rhett using the computer to do that
Obviously
+Rebecca Tatun Nice work Sherlock.
SHHHH! Guys just smile and nod so Im not the only one who didnt notice! Lol! XD
I noticed that while watching that
4:22 when Rhett gives up and acts like he didn’t give up!😂
They're probably more fit than I am.
I would know because I had to take the test last week...
There working out why I am eating cookies
Anna Jane “They’re” (sorry i’m crazy about grammar...)
They’re* & While*
Im the grammar police, you used the wrong verison of they're and spelled while wrong
P E P P E R S P R A Y E D you can’t be the grammar police because you types “I’m” wrong.
H. Fulton i never said i was 😏
I was in the 97 percentile in the state. For math. I suck at gym.
LPS DragonClaw 98th

The next video in my recommended section is “eating 600 cheese balls”
Hmmm I wonder why they’re so out of shape.
It was the next recommended because that was the next episode
