Mikhail Tal plays two unbelievable moves back to back! | Tal vs Miller, 1988

- Mikhail Tal was a genius! It's absolutely amazing that with his creative style of play he could reach the highest level in the world of chesss - becoming the World Champion in 1960.
While there are many games of Mikhail Tal that can have your mouth gaping in astonishment, there is perhaps none as astonishing as the game against Miller from 1988. Two things to note about this game - Tal was towards the fag end of his career (He passed away in 1992) and the second even more amazing - this game was played in a simultaneous exhibition.
There are two moves in this game which simply stand out. Check it out if you can find them!
00:00 - Intro
0:45 - Game begins
7:08 - Unbelievable move 1
9:18 - Unbelievable move 2
12:10 - Revision of the two moves

"I am very quick at calculations and find the move quickly but for tal he didn't have to calculate he just saw the move that had to be played."-Garry kasparov on mikhail tal. In the spirit of mikhail tal ❤️❤️.
Now I understand why samay said, "khelu me tal move" in his disstrack.
TAL is my favorite chess player and when i saw tal's games i really liked them.
"You must take your opponent into a deep dark forest where 2+2=5, and the path leading out is only wide enough for one." - Tal most famous quote . One of the few men to have a positive score against Fischer .
He had equal score with Fischer u noob
4 wins for Tal, 4 wins for Fischer.And 5draws.
This their overall score.
I am not talking only about classical games.
@@hetaljain772 in classical it was 4-2 in tal's favour and also this quote has nothing to do with fischer.
Samay:-(in his song)"khelu mein tal move"
Sagar be like:-"AUKAT HAI TERI?"
Tal doing Ra1
Everyone : brilliant move !!!
Tal : I am just saving my rook
😂😂
Tal dosnt move pieces without deep calculation.
Tal and Fisher are the two gems of the chess world, who have inspired millions (including me). After looking at his games, one can easily realise that sometime Tal is not playing for the win (unlike most players) but only playing for the sake of eternal joy. Who can forget the World Championship games, Botvinik vs Tal, Game 6. Perhaps the only player who can take risks in important events like the World Championship. I would be very happy if Chessbase India starts a series on Tal.
And thank for featuring this lovely game.
What a beautiful game by Tal !! Tal is really a Magician 🧠💫💫
MORAL OF THE STORY
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE TAL

Tal's games are like a brilliant thriller mystery movie with very unexpected ending.

HBD Mikhail Tal 🎂🎂🎂📯📯📯 Legend From Riga
Hi
No kidding this Miller guy must have been a great player too!!
Yes yes
Yesterday's stream video 👍👍👍
Mikhail Tal the name is enough❤❤❤
❤️❤️
Tal😍🔥🙏
in this video at 7:04 if "tal" just put his queen to B-5 then what happens ( is it checkmate? if it is why did not he do it?)
Sir 1:25
I think 🤔 Bishop x f6
Was best
Tal is always a legend.
This game already mention in Many channel, hindi chess video, chessguru, agadmator
9:31 how about queen h5???
Nice beautiful
The man was blessed along with Rashid Nezhmetdinov.
Anything to see the magician of Riga
Why not c6 instead of Rf2???
At 2nd crucial position qh5+ g6 and qh7 wins on the spot!!!
It's not qh5 bro it's qh3. Just one move but miller missed it.
" If your two pieces are hanging, give your opponent onther one, because your opponent has only one legal move. "

5:54 Black Qe4, white ke4 ? How its mate?
What if at 11:33 miller plays QD6 stops both rook and knight??
Tal!...the ancient magician from Babylone who knew all the forgotten secrets that immerge in old india and this ...much before her majesty vishy the first and all his suite made of gukesh, pragg etc...
The real goat
What is the problem with Queen d3 instead of rook d1 deflecting black queen???
Qd3 is met with Nxa1
"A checkmate that cannot be prevented aTal."
Queen h3 is a checkmate in the end
Why tal didn't play q-h5?
No one has defend when tal is attacking ,💪🏻
Please put a disclaimer stating "Do not try this at home" kyunki wo tha magician from riga lekin tum log haggar machha doge, yeh sab ussi ko suit krta tha
11:24 hey queen h3 is check mate for miller ...... Isnt it ?
1:50 I finally got a move after this many videos oh yeah "If u thought of the move queen d5 then that's not the best move" "cries inside"
I just want to see Mikhail Tal inspired AI vs other GMs
I couldn't guess, but perhaps it's a trap. 🥰
When tal is involved its a war
Why not Queen takes knight on e2?
Your commentary in this video not intresting anymore because i saw video on historical chess video channel he is commenting so excitedly and im also soo excited this game and enjoyed .
Unthinkable*
Why not do queen h5+ instead of rook d1? I don’t see a way to stop checkmate in two after that
Entire line qh5+ king can’t run away as all square attacked either rf7 or g6 either ways it’s checkmate ? Is there any issue with this line? Would love to know a counter !
@@ruchirsutaria g6 pe Tera kya counter hai Bhai?qh5+ is a blunder
Sagar Sir instead of Rd1 can I play Qd3 ?
Then queen will gone freely.
@@Dheemanth-it8ew How ?
I want to improve my chess
Why not Qd3 for second move
9:52 What about queen to H5
What on chess is tal doing??🤯😬🤯😬🤯🤯🤯🤯
Tal: Pawn a3
Opponent: Resigns
At 11.07 can't he move his queens to h3 and checkmate?
Sagar shah sir here is the Mikhail tal simul video ua-cam.com/video/DYBvL4ojDh4/v-deo.html
sagar: its even more harder than previous move, can you find this brilliant move..
le 300 rated player: my rook is hanging lets move it to D1.
sagar: kudos to you
If Tal would have played in 21st cent....definitely CHESS would be most popular than ever...
queen to h5 directed check
3:47 who would have?
Bhai tal queen sai check mate kar sakte the
Do. U. Mean Jackmiller?
9:15 queen to h5???? pawn g2 queen h7
Queen H5 is cheak mate here isnt?????
9:00
No the pawns block the check
Samay is the worst sagar sir u are the best teacher I dont know why he left u if he goes to find a better teacher he will lose COB 3
5:55 : Why not Qe4 Nxe4 ???
What... Move doesn't make sense King takes e4?
@@sarangtamirisa5090 its Ne4 ... it was a typo
@@shubhamshah3023 ah ok. But the Knight had to move because it's attacked by the D pawn.
