The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" on its main stage in the new Page Family Center for Performing Arts. Starring TKA senior Gracie O'Connor (Belle), senior Casey Gustafson (Beast), junior Chris Pappas (Lumiere), senior Graham Popadic (Cogsworth), senior Kate Higgins (Mrs. Potts), and senior Sam Cornelius (Gaston), this performance showcased TKA’s fine young talent.
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Stephanie Revell (Elementary Choir, Woodwinds), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano).

Belle's dress is beautiful!!!!! And Gracie is such a fantastic actress and singer.
As for Prince's Suit even the Beast's Suit is great and Casey is a fantastic actress and brilliant we need that in the Movie 🎬 of the Beauty and the Beast even in the Cartoon
I got chills on the "I love you" harmonies. WOW. UA-cam recommending this was amazing.

I'm so happy they put effort into Belles yellow dress. I'm always disappointed with that in high school productions. I'm like it's kinda a big deal if any costume should have detail put into it it's that one.
Kayla D. This is quite an expensive private school and they have a huge budget for their theatrical presentations. Most schools--especially public high schools--have a really limited arts budget and they have to make due with the funds they have available.

tka's beauty and the beast finale and the bows are simply amazing and awesome especially seeing everyone there on stage performing this wonderful production
If my children were young I would move to WPB so they could attend TKA. Such attention to detail in every way
The actor who played the Beast looks so much like Alan Tudyk, its surreal. The production quality of this musical is so amazing, I can't believe its a highschool theatre production

@@daniellem_24 They might give out special exemptions for certain schools to do them. My cousin's high school in Topeka, Kansas was one of the few that got to do "High School Musical", and Friends University in Wichita got to do Cats back in the mid 80's before the rights were released. I think you actually have to audition, plus pay an additional licensing fee on top of what the schools general performance license allows. I could see a school that puts on productions as good as King's Academy maybe getting granted permission to do something like Wicked or Hamilton? I'm not entirely sure how it all works, but it can be done.

I watch this performance over and over again, I cannot belive this is high school performance, for high school in Serbia, in my town, that would took minimum 2 whole years to prepare acting, singing and dancing at that level, not to speak that we wouldn't have conditions like you (scenography and orchestra and what else you have there). You guys are so talented at acting, dancing and singing, it's magnificent! I'm a little jealous, you know😅. All actors are so talented and everyone played their role perfect, I can say better than some profesional actors! Bravo from Serbia!❤
