I've never even used a limited RPM of a motor. It is beyond my control to reach 100 kilometers per hour. But I don't think it's going to be a problem because the ESC's instantaneous output is 400A(single). However, I still think the battery(40c) hasn't enough discharge. @@KAMiJUINs That's exactly what I mean the output voltage is never the full potential voltage it could output because there is a hardware limit on the vesc that if you get close to it or beyond it, it fries the ESC, It comes to around 190kv is the maximum usable kv at 12s, over that it doesn't matter, you won't be able to spin the wheels any faster because of that hardware limit of the vesc, and because of the high kv, the motor needs that much current to even get mooving
@@richardwest9520 Thank you for your explanation. It helped me to understand it. First of all, It will be tested with a battery with a higher discharge rate (over 60-80c).
@@richardwest9520 The motor only has 3 pole pairs so at 12s and 480kv, its max erpm is only 75k. Vesc 6 has an erpm limit of 150k so that's not an issue. Since the board is geared for around 100mph, the maximum erpm the motors will run at when moving at 20mph is around 15000 to 20000 erpm. This is a very inefficient setup but its not gonna fry the esc.

If it calculates the spec, it's close to 100Km/h. But I think, when it gets to that speed, it could have problems with the belts or wheels due to the frictional heat.
Happy new year! Amazing job on the board, it looks so badass. Since the motors are so unreasonably high in kV, do you plan to use the original black motors for it? You could also change the gear ratio and eventually use a gear on gear drive rather than belts. You can also look into increasing the deck width or giving it a concave with something like this www.thingiverse.com/thing:3145193
