It brings me so much joy to imagine being a tsundere librarian's manga dealer. I wonder which type is his favorite? I love manga and other comic style stories. Its the expressions that get me. There are some feelings you get that is not easily expressed or even explained, but you completely get it when you see it in a comic

I absolutely love this dude (and that the idea of him being referred to as "dude" is "crass" and "beneath him as a scholar of classical literature"). "Stuck up tsundere academic with a dorky streak" is an excellent flavor of character. One of the best, I daresay. And it's only made better by your stellar performance once again! I absolutely love the pacing in this. The speaking moments are absolutely iconic, of course, but I also appreciate that you're unafraid of pauses. Silence builds a story just as much as words do, and the awkward little pauses as the librarian just kinda waits around for Listener to say *anything* are golden. ARGIWIWNCJKWB THE ENDING. AND THE RATATOUILLE QUOTE. The second you started talking about the true value of critiques, I immediately thought "That's some Anton Ego shit" AND THEN YOU SAID THAT ANTON EGO SHIT. Made me smile so fuckin wide you have no idea. Sorry I just love Ratatouille. One of the best animated movies of my childhood, huge influence when I was a kid and still is as an adult but I digress. That ending is one of the reasons why I love the "stuck-up yet dorky academic" type. I love seeing those characters get flustered over simple little mistakes like that. Immediately conjured a little bonus scene of footsteps getting louder and faster before he just appears in front of Listener all red from both exertion and embarrassment before handing his phone over and looking away like "*ahem* erm... your number..." And then when Listener hands him his phone back after putting their contact in, he just straightens, adjusts his... fuckin... I dunno his sweatervest or his collared shirt- like dusts it off or something- then goes "...thanks..." with absolute disdain at his horrific display. Then just stiffly trudges away still red and sweaty. Y'know a lil something like that. BUT ANYWAY, this has gone on long enough. You don't need to sift through any more of my barely-lucid (yet still absolutely genuine) word vomit pile. Thanks for your time! And, Pebbles, thanks for the excellent continuation! You rock. ಠ∀ಠ)b 💙
