I was married in the UAE under the Abu Dhabi judicial court in February 2023. My husband and I have decided to go our separate ways. I am now in Canada, while he remains in the UAE. I need guidance on how to obtain a divorce in this situation. Do I need to appear in court in person? What are the estimated costs involved? Please note that we are both expatriates who got married in Abu Dhabi.
