I switched after a nightmare leaky liquid soap incident on the road, and I've never gone back. This is a holy grail travel item for me. I use the visible lift foundation. I don’t remember who I saw suggest it for more mature skin but that’s why I tried it. I really, really like it. I’ve used up half a bottle so far. It doesn’t show texture and it’s buildable. I use my fingers to apply and then I go over it with a beauty blender. A serum foundation is usually what I have used, this one leans more that way but with coverage. So, any mature ladies on here might enjoy this one:)

Eyeshadow is my favorite part of makeup and I go all the way. I almost never use less than 4 shades. Lighter transition, sometimes a darker crease (still midtone, but darker than the transition), a step darker for the outer corner (sometimes even one more darker step just for satisfaction), midtone shimmer in the center eyelid, brighter shimmer in the inner third of the eyelid, brightest highlight around the tear duct and under the browbone. It's the gift I give myself and I find great joy in it.

(which I used for years as well) This was before I got hooked on UA-cam makeup tutorials. LOL Since then I’ve tried so many. I forgot all about it! I still love L’Oréal foundations though!

I was so excited to see you review the L'Oreal Visible Lift foundation. It was my HG for several years. About a year ago I saw fewer shades available, so I figured it was being discontinued. I have combination skin and live near the coast. This foundation provided a nice stain finish that adapted well to the different seasons.
I took the cereve bar to Europe with me and used it on my face. It was awesome! Didn't dry out my skin but my face felt clean . It lasted forever and I used it on my body once we were hom.
I have that wet and wild foundation stick and I really like it. It's easy to blend in for me. Also I've always been a one to two eye shadow wearer. I've never really known how to do more than that because I have hooded eyes lol but also it's easy and I think it still has a great effect.
Okay, a couple things. The Cerave bar soap is my hands down favorite soap for my face. It's lovely. Also, the Essence lipglosses are THE BEST! You have to get the clear gloss. It's my favorite lipgloss of all time. I just pair it with whatever color lipliner I'm feeling that day and it looks gorgeous, is super comfortable, and it somehow fills in my lip lines. Edit: I forgot to add that my favorite LOWER LASH mascara is from Wet n Wild. It's the Mega Length mascara in the small purple tube and it's fantastic for the lower lashes. Casey Holmes turned me on to it a few years ago and I haven't looked back.
I use MAC Bare Study paint pot on my eyelids, and bronzer on my outer corners...and that's it! People keep saying "Oh, you're doing that latte eye look!" Nope...been doing this for years and years! I LOVE makeup, but I don't love the makeup "look".

I used to wear so much eyeshadow. Now that I have 2 kids, I simply don’t usually have the time to do elaborate makeup. My go to for months has been a Laura geller face and eye palette. I use the French vanilla highlight on my lids and a little of the brown shadow as liner on top. It’s so easy and pretty.
I also bought the Cerave cleansing bar on Taylor’s recommendation (for my face) and I love it! I was using the Cerave cream cleanser in the pump bottle before, but I think I like the bar better. It just feels more moisturising and luxurious, my skin feels softer and smoother after.

Daytime look 1-3 shadows. The max would be crease, lid, and inner corner highlight. The minimum would be no makeup at all (my workplace is a very casual no makeup type of place). But sometimes I play with my makeup before going out in the evening and then we're talking 6-8 shadows.
My skin was so dry after 2 surgeries last year! Like, more so than my normal dry skin! The Cerave bar really helped my entire body get over the excessively dried out skin! It really helped me! Use it!!😂

Taylor made me buy it too and I travel with it. I use it on my face only. Dove sensitive for the body always. Maybe not as hydrating as the other CeraVe liquid hydrating cleanser but I still like it a lot.
I love videos like this! I just picked up a CoverGirl foundation the other day that I haven't heard anyone talking any! And it's so good! I giggled when the vacuum started and you were like "not right now!" 😂. Also, I always, always check to make sure products haven't been touched, especially after COVID. And if I get it home and it looks like it might have been touched, I always sanitize it.
Some days, no eyeshadow or one color with a smidge of shimmer. I totally LOVE the Rare Beauty cream eyeshadow sticks - pretty reasonable for higher end. 😊 The mascara, I spit out my seltzer! "If it was the last mascara would I care?!?"😅😅😅😅
Hi Jessica! I typically do 3 eyeshadow colors- crease, lid, highlight inner corner or a shimmer on top. Sometimes if I do a smokey eye or want to smudge out a liner it may go up to 4 or 5. But most days I do 3.

Good morning 😃 if I’m using powder shadow I always use 3-5 colors: for crease, outer V for depth, lid shade is shimmer/sparkle and sometimes lighter shimmer for inner lid and under eye neutral for contour effect or different color as an accent… my makeup time is my “me” time. I find it relaxing and I listen to UA-cam vids 😊
I usually wear 3 eyeshadows. I have hooded eyes, so I "make" my crease with a darker shadow so the hood recedes & a medium color on the lid and a lighter color under the brow to blend out the "crease" edge.

I’ve been using CeraVe face wash as face and body wash for about a year now and I love it. A dermatologist here on YT recommended it for washing “down there” because it’s formulated for delicate, sensitive skin and doesn’t contain fragrance. I also haven’t had issues with body acne since switching. I’ve tried the foaming, hydrating, and cream-to-foam cleansers and I like them all.
Cute look! I'm not a big eyeshadow user, I prefer just a single shadow all over the lids. Usually some sort of greyish brown, taupe or champagne colour. I'm pretty basic lol.
I wear 2-4 eyeshadows when I wear it. Usually Monday-Thursday for work. Friday is casual so I just do concealer, bronzer, mascara to give my skin a bit of a break

I have this pallette and love it. I wanted something with peach tones after decluttering my Kokie Peachy Queen. It was old! I wear five eyeshadows, three actually make my eye look, one shade as a liner and I use one of the lighter shades for my highlighter on my face.
On the eyes, I usually go for a one & done, or two shadows. Three if I’m feeling fancy. But also, I lean towards a more natural makeup look, use a lot of neutral and neutral adjacent shadows and lip colors, etc. Though, I would LOVE to learn how to rock a red lip as someone who doesn’t normally wear bright colors and is very fair. So maybe a video idea!? 😊
Most days I go without shadow, and on the days I want a little something something on my eyes I always reach for a cream shadow. Quick easy, one and done.

Most makeup days are no eyeshadow for me, just foundation, concealer, mascara and blush, but when I want a good shadow look, it's usually 3-4 shades 😊 unless I'm wanting a matte look then that's 1-3 😅
My sweet spot for eyeshadow is 3-4 colours (all over, crease, topper, inner corner) but on the days I use my single shadows it's a nice change of pace!
I wear on average 3 to 4 shades. A light to set my primer down.. a medium to start building crease and lid. A darker to do outer and deepen crease sometimes then a shimmer 3/4 on lid . That normally my go-to lol

Yes, please try out the No7 powder! I used the old formula, switched over to the LYS one because I couldn't find the No7 one anymore and like that one but have a big pan in it so thinking ahead to when I need to buy a new one. LYS isn't that much more expensive but the packaging is bulkier.
I love eyeshadow pallets because I love color but in reality I only wear one to two eyeshadows at the most, if I have the time to do my makeup. Usually it's no eye shadow and just some quick makeup to not look scary. LOL It doesn't help that my eyelids are super dark and it's hard to find a shade that looks good. I really admire people who are good with eye shadow.
I use the bar. I like it better than the cleanser. I feel like the bar cleans a little better. It is less moisturizing. I use it on my face mostly but I have used it on my body with no issues. P.s. I either use 1 shadow (stick) for no-makeup makeup days or 3-4 on makeup days.
I have to know where those hair clips are from. So cute for all those zoom meetings. As for shadow- I'm a 0-1 girlie at this point and usually cool champagne shimmer or toasty coo-lish bronze/brown shimmer. I used to rock blues, greens and purples but only for special occasions now.
That’s why I prefer more high end products bc it seems like some of these products were not working for you! I like to use 3 to 4 eye shadows my favorite part!

L’Oréal make such great foundations! I have never seen that line in Australia and it looks superb on you.

Edit: I forgot to add that my favorite LOWER LASH mascara is from Wet n Wild. It's the Mega Length mascara in the small purple tube and it's fantastic for the lower lashes. Casey Holmes turned me on to it a few years ago and I haven't looked back.
I use MAC Bare Study paint pot on my eyelids, and bronzer on my outer corners...and that's it! People keep saying "Oh, you're doing that latte eye look!" Nope...been doing this for years and years! I LOVE makeup, but I don't love the makeup "look".
@Jessy can we get a video with some of your go-to eyeshadow looks, those 1-3 shadow looks and the palettes you use? I've been combing through your past videos of new products and favs to see just the eyeshadow looks and I feel that would be a hit because so many of your viewers love the rosy aesthetic and minimal steps/products. I used to wear so much eyeshadow. Now that I have 2 kids, I simply don’t usually have the time to do elaborate makeup. My go to for months has been a Laura geller face and eye palette. I use the French vanilla highlight on my lids and a little of the brown shadow as liner on top. It’s so easy and pretty.
I also bought the Cerave cleansing bar on Taylor’s recommendation (for my face) and I love it! I was using the Cerave cream cleanser in the pump bottle before, but I think I like the bar better. It just feels more moisturising and luxurious, my skin feels softer and smoother after.
I love it when you sit on the floor to record, brings back memories of your first videos where you sat on the floor in your bedroom of your parents home.
I’d love to see you do a remake of one of you very first videos. Just for the fun of it. And then you can tell us if you actually use the same products anymore and why or why not.
I have used Loreal Visible Lift foundation for years and years (like 20 years) and I've even recommended it to others.

Daytime look 1-3 shadows. The max would be crease, lid, and inner corner highlight. The minimum would be no makeup at all (my workplace is a very casual no makeup type of place).
But sometimes I play with my makeup before going out in the evening and then we're talking 6-8 shadows.
My skin was so dry after 2 surgeries last year! Like, more so than my normal dry skin! The Cerave bar really helped my entire body get over the excessively dried out skin! It really helped me! Use it!!😂
1-2 colors of shadow for sure. No time for more. Even better one and done eyeshadow stick. Would love to see a comparison of sticks! That wet & wild color story didn’t work for my Asian skin tone, but it was nice consistency.

I had looooved the previous No 7 setting powder, but the new formulation is more drying and not as good 🥲 I’ve finally given in and tried the Charlotte Tilbury, which is AH-MAZING, so that’s what I’m using now ✨

This is so randomly specific, but that Almay stick balm reminds me of the one in Miss Congeniality (that I’ve always wanted to identify/try), when she comes into the dressing room a hot mess and all the girls help her get ready 😂😂 and for that reason, I will be on the hunt to try this and hope I love it, even though, as you said, it’s really nothing special. But that association in my mind makes it so lol

Taylor made me buy it too and I travel with it. I use it on my face only. Dove sensitive for the body always. Maybe not as hydrating as the other CeraVe liquid hydrating cleanser but I still like it a lot.
Dove sensitive is the BEST! Been using it for decades!
I usually use 3-4 eyeshadows every day: crease, blending/browbone shade, 1 or 2 shimmers on the lid
I love videos like this! I just picked up a CoverGirl foundation the other day that I haven't heard anyone talking any! And it's so good! I giggled when the vacuum started and you were like "not right now!" 😂. Also, I always, always check to make sure products haven't been touched, especially after COVID. And if I get it home and it looks like it might have been touched, I always sanitize it.
Some days, no eyeshadow or one color with a smidge of shimmer. I totally LOVE the Rare Beauty cream eyeshadow sticks - pretty reasonable for higher end. 😊 The mascara, I spit out my seltzer! "If it was the last mascara would I care?!?"😅😅😅😅

Hi Jessica! I typically do 3 eyeshadow colors- crease, lid, highlight inner corner or a shimmer on top. Sometimes if I do a smokey eye or want to smudge out a liner it may go up to 4 or 5. But most days I do 3.

I just use my bronzer and highlighter for eyeshadow. Works perfectly for a blended look

Good morning 😃 if I’m using powder shadow I always use 3-5 colors: for crease, outer V for depth, lid shade is shimmer/sparkle and sometimes lighter shimmer for inner lid and under eye neutral for contour effect or different color as an accent… my makeup time is my “me” time. I find it relaxing and I listen to UA-cam vids 😊
Great for face and body IMO. No burn, dryness or irritation in my experience
I usually wear 3 eyeshadows. I have hooded eyes, so I "make" my crease with a darker shadow so the hood recedes & a medium color on the lid and a lighter color under the brow to blend out the "crease" edge.
I am definitely going to try that cerave bar! I love their products and it is a good way to cut down on single-use plastics. I didn't even know it existed.
3 eyeshadows is typical for me. A transition matte, something to deepen my outer corner and a lid shade
I’ve been using CeraVe face wash as face and body wash for about a year now and I love it. A dermatologist here on YT recommended it for washing “down there” because it’s formulated for delicate, sensitive skin and doesn’t contain fragrance. I also haven’t had issues with body acne since switching. I’ve tried the foaming, hydrating, and cream-to-foam cleansers and I like them all.
Cute look! I'm not a big eyeshadow user, I prefer just a single shadow all over the lids. Usually some sort of greyish brown, taupe or champagne colour. I'm pretty basic lol.
I wear 2-4 eyeshadows when I wear it. Usually Monday-Thursday for work. Friday is casual so I just do concealer, bronzer, mascara to give my skin a bit of a break

I have this pallette and love it. I wanted something with peach tones after decluttering my Kokie Peachy Queen. It was old!
I wear five eyeshadows, three actually make my eye look, one shade as a liner and I use one of the lighter shades for my highlighter on my face.
I do a crease color, a darker outer corner color and a shimmer on the lid. I use a brow accent as well. To each her own.
On the eyes, I usually go for a one & done, or two shadows. Three if I’m feeling fancy. But also, I lean towards a more natural makeup look, use a lot of neutral and neutral adjacent shadows and lip colors, etc.
Though, I would LOVE to learn how to rock a red lip as someone who doesn’t normally wear bright colors and is very fair. So maybe a video idea!? 😊
Most days I go without shadow, and on the days I want a little something something on my eyes I always reach for a cream shadow. Quick easy, one and done.

Most makeup days are no eyeshadow for me, just foundation, concealer, mascara and blush, but when I want a good shadow look, it's usually 3-4 shades 😊 unless I'm wanting a matte look then that's 1-3 😅
My sweet spot for eyeshadow is 3-4 colours (all over, crease, topper, inner corner) but on the days I use my single shadows it's a nice change of pace!

I wear on average 3 to 4 shades. A light to set my primer down.. a medium to start building crease and lid. A darker to do outer and deepen crease sometimes then a shimmer 3/4 on lid . That normally my go-to lol
If im wearing eyeshadow I always use 3 shades minimum (1 transition/crease shade, 1 lid, 1 to darken the outer corner/outer upper lashline). Sometimes if im going all out ill do more but a basic look for me always includes 3 shades
No matter how I try to scale back, I end up using two to four eyeshadow shades. I love a no shit eyeshadow look, sculpted and dramatic. I want to look like I'm wearing eye makeup-and like I good at it!
I feel like with my eye shape, one shadow just never works! I don’t get the kind of dimension I need! Even for a basic every day I look I always use 3-4 shadows 😂
I absolutely love that eye shadow palette. The shimmers come to life with setting spray and a finger.
Yes, please try out the No7 powder! I used the old formula, switched over to the LYS one because I couldn't find the No7 one anymore and like that one but have a big pan in it so thinking ahead to when I need to buy a new one. LYS isn't that much more expensive but the packaging is bulkier.
I love eyeshadow pallets because I love color but in reality I only wear one to two eyeshadows at the most, if I have the time to do my makeup. Usually it's no eye shadow and just some quick makeup to not look scary. LOL It doesn't help that my eyelids are super dark and it's hard to find a shade that looks good. I really admire people who are good with eye shadow.
Definitely recommend trying the self-tanner before trying it a few times but with lip liner.
I use the bar. I like it better than the cleanser. I feel like the bar cleans a little better. It is less moisturizing. I use it on my face mostly but I have used it on my body with no issues.
P.s. I either use 1 shadow (stick) for no-makeup makeup days or 3-4 on makeup days.

As for shadow- I'm a 0-1 girlie at this point and usually cool champagne shimmer or toasty coo-lish bronze/brown shimmer. I used to rock blues, greens and purples but only for special occasions now.
I love eyeshadow! It is my favorite makeup to get my creative juices flowing. I love Natasha Denona palettes.
That’s why I prefer more high end products bc it seems like some of these products were not working for you! I like to use 3 to 4 eye shadows my favorite part!
I usually use only one shadow on my lid and one for liner. I am currently looking for a single shadow dupe for the last shimmer shade in the Marc Jacobs Lolita palette. I use it all over my lid and it’s perfect!
