I love Tyler’s idea of coloring in the place you’ve visited, in the adult coloring book. That is so creative and something the family can do together. Very cool idea!
I paused my video and sat down in my backyard with no distractions like you suggested. I found myself saying a prayer of gratitude by the end and wow did it just uplift my soul. This is why I love watching your videos, it’s like taking my big sisters advice ❤
With everything going on in the world now more than ever it is important to recognize those peaceful moments that we need to be grateful for. Also I’m going to the library tomorrow and it is such my happy place. It is my church.
I want to hear about the Egypt trip! So glad that you made it home safely! Yes, geocaching is still a thing. I have a fifth grade student who does it .
The basic Amazon wagon is on sale for around $94 but I got mine for $10 at a yard sale. I use it strictly for groceries so there are truly wagons at every cost. Mine also fold up for storage.
Geocaching is still a thing and it’s an app!! Super fun to do with kids. My 8 year old has love to do it for a couple years now! Whenever we travel somewhere even if it’s close we look to see if there’s caches and it’s like a big scavenger hunt. You guys would LOVE it.
So I think I’m realizing that it’s maybe only those states that are likely to get tornados that have area sirens they test weekly? If there is ever an actual tornado, the sirens sound. They test them weekly at the same time so we would all know it’s just a test and not the real deal.
Designate a shelf in the family area that is "the library shelf". Library books are not allowed to go out of sight from there. Make a list each time you check some out (if they don't print a receipt) and keep it there too. (In one of those clothespin animal note holder things?) Write BOOKS DUE on the family calendar on the right date. My 2 cents. :D
I love that the way you were speaking when you were talking about the outfit with the brown skirt reminded me of your earlier videos 😊 just nostalgic ❤
Tyler and his books and coloring and prepping the legacy! So cool! Can't wait to see your Halloween photos! Oh and the next vlog of the move how exciting!! Thanks Jess!
Jessica I’m having the best time binging, I originally watched a Disney pack video and blogs on Tyler channel. I said oh my god this girl needs a UA-cam. Sure enough I searched you and you’re already on here, such good blogs I’m obsessed
Yes to the library!!! I didn’t have the idea of taking my little one until maybe about 2 years ago and now we go twice a week. I just cleaned under her bed today and found the first book we ever checked out that we keep “renewing” whoops. 😅 I guess she liked it so much she slept with it and it fell through the crack of the bed and the wall. Melts my heart to think about. ❤
for blue make up.... either Mehron or Ben Nye pancake (water activated) . And besure to prep the skin underneath with SPF if during the day or moisturizer.
The slider recipe is one of my favs! A great option for Easter ham leftovers. I never cut the Hawaiian rolls before I make them. I just cut the sheet of rolls in half, make the sandwiches, and cut them after they are baked. Saves so much time!
"What is a LEGACY." 💀🤣 You guys are the cutest. That wagon is absolute perfection and the festival looked awesome! Kids gear just keeps on getting better and better through the years!
Central Illinois our emergency test day is the first Tuesday of the month. Also, hubster is retired and watches our 2 year old grandson during the day. They walked to the library today for toddler time ❤
I find the Missha comes out gray in the beginning but as it oxidizes adjusts to your skin tone... obsessed with korean bb creams they know what they are doing with bb cream! ❤❤❤ love the fall vibes ❤ I have been looking for an affordable wagon will check that one out
YES to the Kay Ali Juicy Apple -- that's a great scent! And you're right -- it's excellent for layering; nice with citrus scents for spring/summer ... but my year-round favorite is Replica By the Fireplace, and the two of them together = a spectacular alchemy. ❤☺
Our testing in Texas is Wednesday at 1pm. I was very startled when I moved to Texas from Maryland and heard the sirens. We don’t have them up north! lol
Jess if you love going to fall fairs/pumpkin patches and you've never heard of or been to Lark Ranch in greenfield, IN I highly recommend. They have all the fair food stands, train ride, lots of kid friendly activities, animals and a mini carnival for kids. And all you pay is admission to get in. One of our favorite fall things to do.
Mississippi Sirens are tested at noon on the first Monday of the month. Geocaching is very much still a thing! You should do it with your girls! I only do historic and interesting caches and it’s really nice to have a family friendly hobby that brings you to interesting/historic places and teaches you something new. Uggs-yes! Outfit-adorable ! Adult coloring books-always a good idea. Thanks for the vlog!
West TN here, our sirens go off on Wednesdays at 12 and Saturdays at 12. Laughing Cow- I make wraps and spread the spicy laughing cow on a tortilla and add lunch meat and bell peppers. It’s so good!
Thank you for having overdue library books. I am always so unnessarily embarrassed returning books late. I have a bag in my car now. Looking forward to trying Hawaiian roll sandwiches.
So, I live in NC and I had no idea that weekly siren tests were a thing! It took me a second to understand what you were talking about haha. Love your vlogs so much, thank you for sharing with us!
Such a fun vlog! I have been a Missha fan because of you and in fact, it is what I took on a two week Europe trip as my everyday face. I mix 23 and 25, the perfect blend of cool and warmer. Thanks!
We have the basic red wagon but that blue wagon is so nice! The top cover folds up like a circle 8 kind of like the car windshield shades if that makes sense? We went to a pumpkin patch last week and it was hard for the kids to sit and also have water bottles, snacks, and the diaper bag trying to fit too. The extra storage on your is really going to come in handy!
In MN, the siren testing is 1pm on Wednesdays. In the areas of PA I've lived in, there wasn't any siren testing. I just moved to TX a few months ago...and now I'm thinking, there isn't any here either🤔🤔🤔
We use the same dog feeding thing but I used the 3M strips to put it on the dog food container so we actually remember to tick it off! It helps so much
So.Missouri here…Siren tests are Wed. 10 a.m. That wagon is so great. You all will get years of use from it. I so agree about taking the moments for you. Life is nuts and we need to be the keepers of our sanity. 😊💕🍁
We have a (very loud) siren test every day at noon. We live in a very small town with a volunteer fire and emergency service, so the siren test is to make sure that the siren is working, should they need to suddenly summon our volunteer emergency workers. I’m not sure why they have to do it every single day, though 😀
Hey (state) neighbor! Our siren test in Chicago northwest is actually 10am on first Tuesday of the month. Didn't realize its different in other states - learned something new 🎉
Heh Jessica.....we were just there 2 nights ago for the Headless Horseman fest at Conner Prairie....love it there so much! We have went several years now! My daughter and family....(two little girls too, 4 yrs old and 2 yrs old).....they loved it, even though unfortunately the weather wasn't that great! So fun to see you guys there enjoying all the things we did too!! We only live 10 mins from Conner Prairie...we are members too!
Would love to hear about Egypt! Please don’t let the current issues stop you from addressing the good parts of your trip. I think we all need to hear something positive right now
With the candle when your done freezer it and pop the unused wax out let it come to room temperature soak it in warm soapy water and boom a beautiful jar.
I love your long vlogs! Not sure if you have tried this but I am currently obsessed with dedcool taunt perfume. It’s nice by itself and such a good perfume to use as a base layer. Your perfume collection made me think of it 😅
I’m laughing because of all the things to buy from your videos, I actually HAVE been in the market for a pencil sharpener 😂 Thanks for the rec, used your link!
I live in western Wyoming. We have no siren warning test. Or at least, I have never heard it since I moved out here. When I lived in Ohio, it was Wednesday at noon. Or was it Friday? It's been a long time. Haha! But it was always at noon there.

Most states don't have tornado siren warnings. It was all new to me when I moved from PA to Indiana. 😂
I was going to say! I had no idea why she was talking about 😂 spoiled Californian here
Maryland here and nope none here either lol
