- This is a craft I've been doing of and on again for the last year to add some color to my office space. It's a great way to bring the green of nature inside for the colder months.

These arts and crafts tutorial videos have to be my favorite of yours. It's so nostalgic and comforting to watch these even if I can't do the crafts! I love how you talk and explain everything clearly but not without coming off as condescending. Like a fun craft with an aunty!

I plan to use this when I am the Att Teacher at camp this summer as a way for the kids to make something that we can decorate on the walls so 500 leaves are no problem.

one paper craft that I like doing is pop up cards, for certain holidays I will make them with tissue paper flowers and make little inserts with decorative paper (I had bought scrap booking paper because I thought it was pretty sadly I don't scrap book) cutting shapes is very fun

I've done paper leaves, but in miniature. Now I am thinking of doing miniature leaf garlands. Or other garlands. This will be fun. Also yes to paper flowers!

oooh, I made some giant monstera leaves in this way hang up at my 18th birthday last year (it was dinosaur themed)
I just used green card paper, but I drew some lines up the middle like these ones :3 🦕🦕
I'm definitely not now planning to make one of those bead curtains that you put in doorways but out of leaves for my kitchen....

Unsolicited craft advice? If your paper starts to crinkle up, you can 1) pre-size it by running it under water and laying it on a flat smooth surface like a counter or board.
2) Flip the paper over, and with regular water, draw a box along the edges of the paper. Draw an x from corner to corner, and if it's a bigger piece of paper, draw a cross that separates the big box into quarters. This will help relax the fibers on the other side, and let go of that wiggling.
3) totally ignore it!!!! Most umportant! Nature doea not like straight lines. It's all driven by circumstances and coincidence, so some wiggles amd texture is just extra realism you don't have to work for!
Now i'm imagining things to made with this. Custom pride banners, trails of wisteria off of a larger base strand, add essential oils or perfume to the paper as you assemble it. Make approximately one thousand goblins and adorn the walls. Sparkly or metallic paper (or gitd) with stars from the ceiling. Toooooo many ideas at once.
