XBOX 360 S - Startup and Shutdown

I originally got this console from a lot of PC equipment but it lacked the cables and HDD, but not too long ago one of my former teachers gave me a lot of PC equipment which included some cables, Kinect Sensor, and some controllers for the XBOX 360. I also bought a 3rd party 120GB HDD from eBay for relatively cheap as well, so now I have a somewhat functional XBOX 360 S! :)
Too bad that the XBOX 360 Store will be discontinued indefinitely in Late-July of this year... :(
This console has a manufacturing date of September 26, 2010.

Does the hard drive show the "Microsoft" logo at the bottom to indicate that the board is official?
