Yes. Definitely all songs are better when Super Junior sings them in concert. Their content isn't usually blocked unless it belongs to an official japanese channel and that's why we don't ask you to react to Opera.

The main guy or leader you mentioned is siwon and he's actually not the leader! Although some new fans (such as myself lmao) used to or tend to mistake siwon as the leader when he's actually the visual/center of the group, which is understandable since he does look like the leader type lol, their leader is actually leeteuk, the guy at 13:40 !

Super Junior, they were created as an experimental project of sm before, before they became a permanent group. That project is called Super Junior 05 means SM brings together a group of young talents from various fields, including actors, MCs, comedians, singers, musical actors, stage directors, concerts, and many more Simply put, Super Junior can do anything and everyone.

The concert that you chose the live version from SS6 also has "Islands" which I recommended live, but it's very similar to "Evanesce" live, so that illustrates their live singing just as well, but personally I find "Islands" even more powerful.
Leeteuk is the leader, he's the one with the very short hair here who looks a bit like a young Mr Spock, he's actually the oldest of the group. I think he's also the one who made you say they are good actors, and I actually wish he would do more acting like some of the others do (eg Siwon who you thought was the leader), but he mostly works as an MC and is very successful at that. But he often cries for real at specific places in "Evanesce" and "Islands", in "Islands" he even has to stop singing for a bit because he's emotionally overwhelmed, the lyrics seem to be connected to something personal, and fans know that he had gone through a lot of hardship around this time. He's my bias, so its very painful for me to watch.
The other live song from SS6 that I recommended is "Midnight Blues" (like "Islands" there is also no video), it's not a pure ballad, it has a bit of a beat, so you might like it. In the concert, it forms a set of three with "She Wants It" (also no video) and "U" in a fantastic musical stage-like set with a minimal narrative progression. Its too difficult for me to choose only one, but SS6 is one of my fav concerts overall.
In "She Wants It" they all even dance and romance with girls, like the lead dancer Eunhyuk in the "Evanesce" MV, which as you pointed out is a rare thing indeed for Asian boy groups! In South Korea it's still a bit controversial for men and women to touch each other in public. On TV for a long time, in contrast to cinema, they didn't even show kisses directly. Leeteuk even recently got called out for "sexual harassment" because he allegedly placed his hand too low on a female dance partner's hip, which was totally absurd by any standards, because it was in the choreography like that, and that wasn't even particularly risqué. They can dare more in live concerts for whatever reason (perhaps there are no explicit guidelines, perhaps because the audience self-selects in contrast to TV where kids might watch accidentally), but it may also be relatively rare in order to avoid that female fans get jealous, because many teenage boy group fans are known to get very possessive (that's also why idols aren't allowed to date or hide it when they do).
"Andante" is not fast, it is like a leisurely walk ("andare" means to walk in Italian). :)
I actually saw SuJu live in Japan and won a ticket to a meet & greet afterwards. It was unforgettable. :)

I'm the opposite in where Evanesce is much more my vibe sound-wise, but This Is Love grew on me because of the lyrics. I love the expression of love as a collection of small 'ordinary' things. I also love how This Is Love talks about love being made of those small moments, while Evanesce talks about love as a whole being something fleeting.
This Is Love adlibs are Ryeowook (my bias 😊).
Both MVs are directed by Shindong (who doesn't get nearly enough credit for his directing skills imo).
Evanesce dance break is one of my favorite choreo pieces in all of Kpop. Eunhyuk's body expression is a masterpiece.
Donghae is famous for being able to cry on command so you can count on him being there whenever a tear needs to be shed. 😂
I think Super Show vids have fewer problems because they're mostly from concert DVDs (might be wrong on that reason), but just to be safe, there are Seoul recordings available for all of them too. :)

So now you see why we said you needed to watch "This is Love" and "Evanesce" together. :D "This is Love" and "Evanesce" were the opposite sides of a love story. "This is Love" is about how happy you are when you are in love, and "Evanesce" is the sad side of the story about slowly forgetting about your love after you have broken up. During "This is Love" it was supposed to be depicting the part of a relationship where you are happy and in love. But in "Evanesce" that MV is showing how happiness may not always last and sometimes you end up breaking up. The girl fell out of love or didn't feel as passionately about them as they did about her. Like many relationships you start out in love thinking you are going to be together forever (Like what is shown in "This is Love"), but eventually things change and you end up breaking up (Like you see in "Evanesce").
In "Evanesce" they were in the same room but the room looked as though no one had been there for a long time. Evanesce means "to fade away or to leave your sight or memory." So the song is about how they are slowly forgetting about their love and they are sad to be losing the memory of being in love. That is why Eunhyuk is dancing with that girl, and it is almost as if she is a spirit or ghost of a past memory. They go back to the place where they remember being in love hoping to recapture that love and to try and hold on to those memories, but they find that as time has passed nothing is the same any more, and like their memories, even the room has been neglected and forgotten about.
Fun fact: Yesung is not in these MVs because at this time he was still serving in the military. So that is one reason why you saw Heechul singing more of the main vocal parts in "Evanesce." This is also the last group MVs where you will see Sungmin with Super Junior. "This is Love" and "Evanesce" were released in in October 2014. Sungmin got married in December 2014 and enlisted in the military in March 2015. With all the controversy surrounding Sungmin's life when he was discharged, he decided to not participate in their "Black Suit" comeback in 2017, to prevent his issues from affecting SuJu's activities. So, he has not participated in any comebacks with SuJu since then.
"This is Love" and "Evanesce" live are the perfect examples of how even SuJu's rappers could be main vocalists. Eunhyuk, the blond main dancer who had the dance breaks in both of these songs, who you complimented on his vocals, is actually the group's main rapper as well. And in concert Heechul with the long hair in "This is Love", who you liked his rap flow, even filled in for Yesung's main vocal parts in some of their songs. That's what makes SM artists stand out from the rest, because they all can do it all.
These were great songs to watch/listen to back-to-back. Love the storytelling aspect. Thank you for the great comment.

FYI, Super Junior D&E (Donghae and Eunhyuk) has a song titled Evanesce II. It doesn't have an MV but the song is really good and one of my faves from the duo. :-)

I don't know if others have mentioned, but up to their 6th super show, there are also the live albums available, while my favorite super show, the 7th, has only been released in video forms. I prefer their live versions, because they are so great live.
