"Descendant from Godfrey" doesn't have to mean that they are a direct offspring of Godfrey. That's basically what clans are. They are a group of people claiming to be descendants from a real and/or mythological figure. Biologically speaking, this kinship can be extremely tenuous or completely inexistant. That's why, in real life, you can have people claiming to be part of the "Clan of th wolf" because, according to them, they are all descendants from the same mythical wolf.
honestly fromsoft missed a big opportunity with vyke lore. This dude is literally on the game cover. Not to mention how he looks and how he also fcked a dragon. If he wasn't strayed by frenzied flame he would probably have become an elden lord
The entire thing was lore accurate, there was no filler, without this edits you would have a lot more questions than answers, the idea is that the game has to be incomplete for you to guess what really happened
@@camellia_vt of course, now I understand that much, sorry if I made it sound a certainty. Godfrey's first wife was Marika, as far as we know. One thing to remember is that Godfrey was banished by Marika. She replaced him with Radagon. He was the chieftan. Why wouldn't he father every child in his clan?
What do you mean by "filler", it's cut content, but only because there wasn't time to finish it, just as several quests were only completed later with a patch.
@@camellia_vt Yes, it was filler because it was cut content, just as Miyazaki himself already said that the DLC was, only now they managed to complete it, but my guess is that they just didn't complete this Kalé quest, because he would go on a pilgrimage like other merchants and when elden ring came out there were no icons on them, So how would 90% of players who don't know how to look for anything find it, besides the fact that it's where Ranni's quest starts?
I like how that one guy in chat is like "It's confirmed, Melina is the Gloam-eyed Queen!" Bro she's Marika's daughter, clearly you haven't listened to all her lines. Or seen Vaati's stuff about her. Or... DLC spoilers Read Messmer's remembrance spell descroption.
I think Melina is both Marika’s daughter AND the Gloam Eyed Queen, and the Gloam Eyed Queen is a second entity that lives within her like the Abyssal Serpent and Messmer, The Scarlet Rot and Malenia, and Saint Trina and Miquella.
that is the only end that actually makes sense to me. This world is ducked up beyond everything and the only reasonable thing to do is end it and let there be something completely new and different. just like in DS. There has to be an end before something new can arise
@@camellia_vt yes but that cut content still relates directly to the story and the frenzied flame. Filler is pointless conjecture for the sake of padding. You can still infer everything about Kales quest through environmental story telling and item descriptions.
@@DirtSpud filler has multiple meanings. For me filler in this video is the cut content since it’s not in the game it’s extra stuff they put in the video to fill it up.
@@camellia_vt nah it relates directly to the actual facts of the story though. Shabriri slandering the merchants provided the suffering needed to manifest the frenzied flame in the capital. His ancestors were the direct cause of it through their unjust slandering by Shabriri. Kale dialogue and quest is cut from the game but the nomadic merchants are associated with the frenzied flame.
Yes this I know.
It is literally 'accurate lore wise.'
Only a few scenes were recreated.
I honestly think they fucked up by removing Kale's quest. It would've added so much to the frenzied flame ending.
It would of been so goood
It is all accurate lore wise.
There is no filler.
Apparently there was cut content in it.

The whole point of Vyke is being so honorable that he is easily manipulated. Sometimes you must be disonorable and do harsh choices to win.
This will forever be the coolest ending for me.
MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD
such a shame that some of the best voice acting in the game is cut content
I agree
Marika had a lot of kids, the stone golems with a bell under them had their unalive bodies.
