    Is it okay to cover the socket, like you did? I'm scared that steam will build up in the socket and possible become an issue

      I put the cable offset with an isolator switch not under the chimney where moisture in that cavity could cause issues to safety from water build up.

    Seems odd they haven’t left a kink in the sides of the chimney for those that don’t have a wall outlet in the perfect location and instead need to run it discreetly as possible to above the cupboards with an extension lead.

      it goes within the room, the carbon filter removes contaminates and then it blows it out the top of the extractor fan into the decorative chimney void

    • @SlothMan118
      @SlothMan118 2 місяці тому

      Inside the room

    Is it a must we use charcoal filter?

    • @SlothMan118
      @SlothMan118 2 місяці тому

      If using a recirculation extractor, you are required to have a carbon filter as it will remove contaminates, but you also need a separate room extractor

    Don't you have to put ducting into that chimney - especially if you're recirculating?

    Extraction outlet is the only way to go not a bit charcoal foam your just wasting your time do it properly. 😮

    • @atb88
      @atb88 Місяць тому

      If it was possible, yes - but for many that is not the case hence people fit recirculating set-ups.
