The outfit that James is wearing in the Dream Drunker manga I'm pretty sure is a Trigun reference; given not only its appearance but also the desert setting and the time period it came out.
Man, I think the trophy for best "love/hate" relationship between game characters goes to Falco and Fox
They've already gotten married, Falco has already slapped Fox in the face, and much more in games, for love, this is perfect

Looking closer at it, it probably is, just by seeing how the anthro characters are drawn. Most of the characters shown here have that signature chin that furry bara artists have.

This was a great video. It was a fun watch first most, but more than that I greatly appreciate you compiling all these comics into one place. This stuff scattered across the internet on obscure websites and forums makes it liable to become lost media. Artwork should always be preserved

I don't have context of the surrounding frames so I'm going to assume that yes, that is James McCloud in his formals. I don't read very much Japanese at all, but I was able to get "Fox's father, Shogun McCloud" out of it. That's a somewhat literal translation of the furigana though, and I don't know if the kanji is denoting a more specific rank.
The last two were fire, especially the one by Kazumi Sakamoto. I didn't know Takao Aoki did one too, I knew him better for creating the original Beyblade saga

I think my FAVORITE thing about the Nintendo Power comic is that really weird plot point where Fox makes Fara put on his dead mom’s dress and tell her she looks exactly like her, that if his father saw her he’d drop dead because of her beauty and resembling Fox’s mom, and some other characters thought she looked like Fox’s mom. Based on all of that I think it’s safe to say that SNES Fox may have some Chris Chan type desires🤣🤮. Instead of killing her off in Event Horizon (because he couldn’t think of a more creative way to get her out of the picture and make Fox be depressed so he could end up with Krystal) UndyingNephalim/IceCreamMan should’ve had a scene like that resulting in Fara ditching Fox because she thinks he’s a sicko. That would’ve been SO FUNNY!😂. It’s definitely for the best that the SNES continuity got rebooted.
Too bad Star Fox is dead because the leadership at Nintendo clearly have no idea what to do with the franchise. They just keep throwing in all these weird gimmicks nobody likes and don’t build on the stuff that works or expand the story (they’ve retold the same story 3 times in SNES, 64, and Zero). Luckily there’s various fan projects keeping it alive.

5:54 General Pepper kinda looks like a bulldog here rather than a bloodhound like in the actual games and I can't get that out of my head.

Translator here. Just finished up the second to last one you mentioned in the vid and uploaded it to mangadex for anyone to read. My tysetting tho is a bit noobish since I haven't done in it in years. If anybody wants to clean that up, your more than free to use my translation(just gimme me the proper credits.)
Also by the look of it, UA-cam deleted my other comment where I posted about the other one I finished. Probably cause I tried to put a google drive link..... The last manga he also metioned I translated/typsetted and put on mangadex about a month ago. Hopefully youtube doesn't delete this comment too lol
Japanese translator here. When you metioned so much of this was still untranslated, I looked at all the fan sites I know but could barely find anything. The fact so much of this is untranslated even 6 months after ur video shocked me.I thought gaming manga was pretty much all translated at this point. While I am currently working on another translation project, but if no translations are out by the end of December. I'd be so down to translate a couple of them and put theme on the web.. Which do you recommend be translated first?

They probably have some of the best art out of the bunch and are the most obscure!
Oh wow! I really hope you do find time to translate for us! I've never heard of any of these except for the Nintendo Power comic and Farewell Falco, so it would be a joy to read at lease some of these! (General Pepper "Good Luck" sound effect here)

The thing that absolutely kills me about this is, this shows the IMMENSE potential of not only Star Fox but of a combined Nintendo Universe. If Nintendo didn't go for this weird segregation of the franchises its enforced.

Through tons of pain staking research lol, it was a pain in the rear to find them all and surprisingly there are more manga's still being found today!
..........So when is StarFox month exactly?
Its the whole month of april from the 1st to the 30th! However this year it will probably be going into may a bit since there is still a handfull of projects id like to push out!
