Have you adjusted the sensitivity to high? Although I am not sure about a specific configuration for range. Also log a support ticket, the linknLink tech are usually very quick to respond.
I have one of their emotions inside the corner post of vinyl siding on my house next to the driveway! Works perfectly right through the vinyl out of sight! When triggered, the Google assistant announces driveway intrusion! The emotions aren’t the easiest to get into HA, because no one tells you the instructions are on there website.

Its been very good, its accuracy at under 5metres on 3 objects is very accurate. As I said in the video, don't expect 4 objects, but then again how many times do you track 4 objects moving. Love the height sensor adjustment, that's a life saver for robot vacs, just be careful about placement and level.
This video convinced me to order on kickstart. Looking forward to testing it.

This product doesn't have a modbbus - how are you setting up the HACS integration? Thanks!
The eMotion Max does support Modbus, although I have not used it myself. I'm just using the standard linknlink integration from HACS.
Hey I just got it today and I've been having range issues with it with it only getting about 6-8 ft with it

@smart_home_australia yes it on high I have there of them I'll check those soon how many feet of detection are you getting
In my testing i got about 6m but only when tracking 2 objects.
All sensors are available on home assistant?
